Fans think Giuntoli is playing Football Manager and there is unlimited money to spend with no consequence. These "Juve experts" have no idea about the mess the club is in with players that aren't good enough that have big long contracts. Paratici ruined the team and Agnelli let him. The mess to sort out is huge so we will have to wait and see how we do between now and close of the market. Then we can judge

You're right, its not FM and there isn't unlimited money, which is why telling 10+ players that they are out of the managers plans and would be leaving the club was a huge mistake on Giuntoli's part. There is no way he could get rid of all these players (AND find replacements in a single mercato). Rebuilds take time and even if players aren't in the long term plans, they might still be at the club for a season or half season. Now prospective clubs want discounts since they already know the players are out of project, which means Juve will either be A.) stuck with half a team that hasn't trained with the group all pre-season, B.) Keep those players frozen out and not have enough depth, or C.) sell most of these players at the deadline for WAY undervalue, and not have enough time to replace them this window.
Lol Giuntoli is playing exactly like FM when he wanted to sold 10 players except now he's in a reality check.

Ever since CR7 arrival Juve lost much of their identity. The team aspect fell apart and it was about serving Ronaldo, since then we got royally screwed by Pogba (sadly). Aside the CR7 signing a few years back Juventus has only been signing slightly above average players. Vlahovic I know is trying hard and the pressure on him is HUGE but mentally he needs to stay calm and simplify his game. Juve's defense was amazing last year and we lacked tactics in midfield but I think this year they will improve in that area. Team needs some muscle and fitness to last all season but lets hope they work on the chemistry in this experimental season that the fans and myself wanted so badly.
TBH panic mode should've been on from the moment we had lost Calafiori to Arsenal, couldn't finish Koopmeiners within 5 days from 1st rumors and sold Soule for peanuts. IDK why there was euphoria about this management to begin with, but whatever. Another LOOOOOONG season of finding the right form and playing mehanisms.
Todibo is a better CB today. He was a good pivot but we were nickel and diming that move as we didn’t want an obligation to pay

We need a cheap defender and some wingers, I won't like to focus to much in koopminers but start to see other options. Selling some of the players should also be a focus point.

I think everyone needs to take a step back and shift perspective. So much, in my opinion, has changed for the better. Going on panic mode is so crazy to me. It’s like no one understands how large organisations function. The greatest organisations have a forward and long term looking view. We need to be happy that we are going into the right direction with the right intention. And as a side note, Calafiori was an injury ridden player at Basel. Motta then turned him into a great CB. There is all the possibility in the world for Kalulu to excel alongside many other players under Motta. Please have a bigger POV and long term view. Juventus is cooking, just not on your “everything now” timeline.

From Giuntoli It wasn't nice how he sacked Max. Every body thought Max is a Devil he doesn't want to play attacking football. Giuntoli was the angel and he is the best guy. Now we sacked him and we can't even build a team. We have Artur,Chiesa,Mckeni... players at VIP, but we didn't complite the team.
Next week is serie A! And if we think Guntoli Broth in the winter Djalo and Alcarez. No good, not first team pleyers. "Now we have plans".
We are buying 10 players and it's still a question! Are we fhinishing in top four? This team is a total mess! First we sould have won SerieA, then we can play "Real Madrid"=We are a strong team we are not leting Thuram to the olymics, we are not giving playing time to players like Chiesa "Becous they are not in project".
I like Motta, his realy talented, but hi is not on juve-s reabilding level. If we realy want to make a good team we should have got Conte.

Thank you, Beppe! Manchester United learned (the hard way) what happens when the manager is stuck with players who don't fit their tactics. ETH was forced to change his tactics for the whole team when Martinez and Shaw were injured. Giuntoli and Motta are trying to avoid this. Juve needs players who fit Motta's system more than superstars who don't!
As of now Kalulu is broken, its pointless to bring up old statistics and assume they are going to be relevant or something we should expect from him now, we could do the exact same thing with Djalo who is visibly not up to it at the same level anymore. He's a complete unknown quantity in terms of fitness and what quality he will return to, far from a sure thing, he's a complete gamble. The only thing we do know is that Milan feel relatively comfortable dumping him on us. Its 100% a panic buy, saying otherwise is just wishful thinking- we failed to sign any of our defensive targets and have been caught with our trousers down, its that simple.
Maybe we shouldn't have wasted money on garbage like Cabal or signed Djalo for no reason or took an onerous loan for Alcaraz to have 5 minute cameos a handful of times. Maybe then we might have been able to actually afford a half decent defender.

We don’t have to forget that 1) budget is limited 2) we are not the only team in the market and we have many competitors. We need to trust the management and Thiago Motta’s ability to coach players.
You know what, I would just forget about Koop and players in Italian clubs and would go overseas and get that Celtic player and Nico Williams. There are many players in La Liga and France that we can get. Screw Comisso and other aholes in Serie A. Even happy to bring more players from next gen.
I can only conclude that mercato will be continued at January from Kalulu deal. He is not enough but good enough surviving until 2nd mercato arrive imo.
Kalulu will be forced to manage a limited movement just like Angel DiMaria in order to prolong his playing frequency. At least he will only be lined up to counter speedy opposition only.
Weston blew his shot to Villa and can only cater his anger at Continassa instead of his career. I hope amicable solution are found. I always wanted to remind Chiesa how KDB got his raise. He laid out his contribution from the past to the manager from his statistics. Not only Chiesa's contribution are struggling, we are also struggling financially and our chef is working against the deadline. For his sake, have his agent working overtime. IDC whether he's staying or otherwise bc this is the point i can only respect either side's consideration behind closed door. I'm acting like adulting fans here lol.

My brother is a Milan fan since day one, for some reason, but he says kalulu is a good rotation player and better at RB than CB. We can’t build everything in one season. If we get Koop, we will be great to watch!

Kalulu vs. Gatti is massive upgrade, he can play RB. I have absolutely no problems with this transfer and its formula. Problem is Giuntoli's absolute unpreparedness, which calls his competence into question...

We cant compete financially for these players . Especially our top targets who eventually joined other sides ...the delays then we loose them. Its disappointing given the fact that the football schedule next season is alot of games

We are doing a big clean up. Its unrealistic to make the team great in one summer. This is a project for more than one season, and i prefer to aim for big changes and get so much done as we can this summer. And then continue to build in the coming years. We have a lot of overpaid players because of the past managment. Its a tough job to deal with. It will take time, but hopefully we will see instant progress aswell.
Honestly, who thought that we can get rid of all the baggage from previous years in one fell swoop?
We overpayed and overpayed and now all we can move in transfermarket is our young perspective players. If some players had some value, we nulled it by 3 years of mediocre play.
This is year zero/one. We will show that we can fight and attack and then sell and buy.

Tbh i would go for o ́riley so atalanta fo not get their replacement to koopmeiners if they decide to sell him.
From juve sporting perspective it is a risk but i think it has to be taken if we don’t want to find ourselves with 2 days before the end of mercato with koopmeiners going to liverpool.
If o ́riley flops we still have miretti and adzic which is not ideal but they are stil young and show big potential.

It is ridiculous that they left everything to last days of mercato. It seems pre-season training means nothing to management. Also it is funny how we are at the mercy of all other clubs like Genoa or if the domino effect happens late at this time!

This mercato is, as you said mostly shaped by the decisions of third parties. Players that are not leaving and other teams that block the movement of koop, calafiore, gonzales etc.. i have the feeling that italian teams are scared, because they see what we are doing. This is not normal! Lets stop doing buisness in italy. There are no interesting italian players anyway.
The money move by mckennie was crazy and the manipulative behavior of fede agent is even worse. I dont like blaming everybody but not ourselfs, but to be honest this time its to 95% not on us.

Kalulu could potentially be an "ok" sign, not great but ok, the problem is the tendency to injuries. And honestly I'm tired of this kind of players. The history of Juventus is full of good or great players stopped by injuries. Costa, Pogba, Dybala, Ramsey, Kaio.. And there is nothing more frustrating than seeing players that have more appearances in the Jmedical than on the pitch. It's another bet of this kind that I'm tired to see from Juventus.

Beppe, when analyzing those percentile ranks for Kalulu - is that comparing him only to other CB's? and if so, did he not also play as a full-back during the season also? Because if he did play some games as a full-back then those rankings may be higher than they should be.
