Moral of this game: the cat wins. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It walked over Bennie's board, swung at Geoffrey for lethal and ate the humans to finish Martin off.
Outpost Siege's second mode is not often used, but its certainly not bad. Back when my izzet deck was still a tokens deck combining it with impact tremors made my tokens ping on the way in and on the way out, meaning people weren't too thrilled to wipe the board. XD
It was nice that the Saheeli, Sublime Artificier misplay had no effect on the game- the Servo could have become an Archive on the -2, and the Servo didn't do any damage before it died
Kathril is already too strong, and with Greaves/Boots and similar there's plenty of way to give him haste. It's sad to see him getting a lot of table-hate in form of removal, but he's able to single handedly win games alone, if you don't have Graveyard exile effects
Loved the vid. Im not trying to change your formula or anything, but in the deck intros, maybe separate the partner commanders so we can see them both :)
@@DarkEinherjar yeah. I fogot Pako was errated. But stealing stuff and its a perfect budget commander. And its adorable. And when I mean true Dog commander. I mean tribal synergy. Not like Pako focused on Spells
When Deathbringer Regent resolved for the second time, the creatures shouldn't have been destroyed. With Alex sacrificing his human token and Bennie sacrificing Kathril, the creature count was reduced to less than five, and I'm pretty sure the Regent's ability counts the creatures during resolution as well.
Alex sacrificed his creature in response to the dragon being cast, but Bennie waited for the ability to trigger before sacrificing his, ensuring that it still went off. Apologies for not explaining it very well! 😅
@@AffinityForCommander The ability checks for its condition during resolution as well. Even if the trigger is already on the stack, if there aren't enough creatures on the field at the time of resolution, it does nothing. Rulings: 603.4. A triggered ability may read “When/Whenever/At [trigger event], if [condition], [effect].” When the trigger event occurs, the ability checks whether the stated condition is true. The ability triggers only if it is; otherwise it does nothing. *If the ability triggers, it checks the stated condition again as it resolves. If the condition isn’t true at that time, the ability is removed from the stack and does nothing.* Note that this mirrors the check for legal targets. This rule is referred to as the “intervening ‘if’ clause” rule.
Great game and Bennie was superb as usual (he is a really nice and very knowledgeable bloke), but introducing him as the person who "literally wrote THE book on Commander"? You guys really know better than that...
Very cool game. A lot of come-backs. Feels like the old days when there were no infinite combos in each deck.
Thank you! 😄
Oh man... Our playgroup tries to avoid this level of playing, cause its ruining the fun at kitchen table :3
@@gaaragresnik4140 but this is the way magic should be played. If they don't lile it then try cedh.. They might change their mind :)
I hope this channel grows and grows! Great gameplay and commentary!
Thank you Marcelo! 😍
Junto al señor Muddstah, ustedes son mi canal favorito de gameplays. Sigan así, que su contenido es muy bueno.
Keep it up!
¡Muchas gracias Carlos! 😄

All praise the kitty-cat! 🐱

Great thinking! 😄

Yeah, it's a good job it was only a minor error and not something bigger! 😅
Still sad that there are no haste counters for Kathril to exploit... :(
Yeah, he would be insanely good if he could get haste! 😅
Kathril is already too strong, and with Greaves/Boots and similar there's plenty of way to give him haste.

Been getting some games in on cockatrice, but nothing beats real games. Thanks as always for the great content guys!
You are very welcome! 😁
Wait... Hold on. There is another mode to output siege?! I've never seen that one used
Haha, me neither! 😂
Loved the vid. Im not trying to change your formula or anything, but in the deck intros, maybe separate the partner commanders so we can see them both :)
Normally I swap the partner commanders around half way through the players intro, but completely forgot for this one 😅
Mardu humans seem
Awesome! Great content.
Thanks Jeff! 😄
Thats the nicest kitty i have ever seen. Mine would knock over my deck, kick the other cards else where and grab a random card and run off with it.
Haha, gotta love then! 🤣
Bennie's mat is excellent, I'm super jealous.
Haha, it is super cool! 🤣
Love it! Keep it up guys.
Thank you! 😍
Nice decks thx for the game. It really helped me pass the time making dinner for the kid (:
I'm glad we could be of assistance! 😁
You would have never imagined that your games will inspire a man into exploring the yamen kitchen but...
😂
Alex: *helps Jeffery KO Bennie*
Also Alex: *ends Jeffery's career* 😎
🤣
I want that Pako Haldan deck made after looking at Rin and Seri. Well because A theres no true Dog commander yet. And B. Temur spells and clone
Alex has made it, but can't play it over webcam due to the card stealing effects! 😥
Pako has received errata and is now a true doggo. No tribal synergies, though...
@@DarkEinherjar yeah. I fogot Pako was errated. But stealing stuff and its a perfect budget commander. And its adorable. And when I mean true Dog commander. I mean tribal synergy. Not like Pako focused on Spells
Nice games guys. Hug from Brazil !!!
Thank you! Hug right back! 😍
Did Bennie attempt to make any counter-deal for that? Seems like the swing was one-sided.
There was not! I think that he accoeted his fate gracefully! 🤣

Ah, looks like you are correct! I will remember this for next time. Thank you for pointing it out to me! 😁
Questing Beast also has haste
He does, but Bennie's commander can't create haste counters 🙂
The cat moved to Alex’s camera as if she knew the outcome of battle. Also when is Martins next journey to git gud?
The kitty knew the future! And ow, such hostility! 😜
Affinity For Commander it’s either Git Gud or die trying
The trigger of deathbringer regent shouldn't have worked since alex had only 4 creatures :)
But Bennie had one as well 🙂
Nice game!
Thanks! 😁
Cats make everything better.
Agreed! :D
Ewww fast lands in commanders 😱😉
Hahaha, oh Neo! 😂
Commander politics is serious business.
You better believe it! 😃

Don't worry, there's room for both of you on our favourite EDH authors list! 😘
