This car was originally owned by the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, for the exclusive use by the President of India. The F124 is a very unique car and this is the only one in the country. pwoli sanam ...hats off to akhil vishnu and at the garge team.. you could have explained the history little more deeply about the previous owner and how it ended up in that condition were it was found in a abandoned condition and about why the previous owner bought it and why he left it.. i was eagerly waiting for that part which never came.
Unfortunately that’s a grey area for us also. Better not to tell those details since we ourselves aren’t too sure about it. 😄
Exactly.. how it became abandoned.. how akhil re-registered this abandoned vehicle without the owner’s permission.. huff anyway we are thrilled on this vehicle ❤

Small Suggetions
1. its over actractive , Missing the real Classic feel. (white or grey might suites well)
2. keep a black sticker on the longer side to balace with other side.
3. Boot door feels like very plain or after market feel. (Some body lines or classic design element to be added)
4. Orginal front bumber will look good
5. Orginal wheels are better than this (or try 15 inch same design wheels whith higher profile tyres )
6. Normal springs will add more classic look and practicality
In my opinion, black looks like a hearse, while white looks like an ambulance. I think this color combination looks cool! Also, 15-inch wheels don't suit such a big vehicle!
Amazing video! While there aren't any other W124 ambulances, I remember spotting a W123 based ambulance in Mohanlal's Nirnayam movie.
That one belonged to Vijaya heart center chennai. It was imported by Dr Cherian back in the day. There were two which which went to the ground and together they have resurrected as one car. Will try to feature it someday. Belongs to a friend.

If I clearly remember there was a VF124 featured in the hit 2007 film sivaji the boss starring superstar rajnikanth. The 124 was a limousine with an extra pair of doors and 3 rows of seats. There has been documentation of that car or images post that movie. If anyone reading this happens to know anything about that car please do share it with us it would be great to know the story behind that car

I’ve seen this car around my house, near Ponekkara. I believe the interior restoration works were done here? I always used to try my best to get the best look at it possible as we drove past the building. Was shook to know it was an ex presidential vehicle, and even more stunned to know it’s owned by you.
