- Gameplay is largely identical to that of Human Alliance, with up to two players using mounted gun turrets to fire at opponents on screen across four stages.
The Pacific Ocean, Wales and East China stages can be played in any order before moving on to the final stage, The Moon.
New to the game's control interface is the addition of a "Hyperenergy Tech" lever. This can be used to either create a shockwave that damages multiple enemies at once, or to generate a force field to protect the players from enemy attacks.
Players can also push this lever in a specified direction or repeatedly press the start button at predetermined points to complete Action Sequence events and avoid potential damage. The game also includes an achievement system.

I love how this gaming series is set in an Alternate Universe where there’s no Cemetery wind or Lockdown,just Autobots,N.E.S.T. vs The KSI drones and Decepticons

That cameo of the games developers was quite a cool touch.
Including Jerry Korbecki who used to work with Konami's american branch (notably in Lethal Enforcers)

It’s interesting how the last game is like Revenge of the Fallen & Dark of the Moon, but even better. With its plot similar to Revenge of the Fallen, involving a Sun Harvester. This game that’s like Age of Extinction & The Last Knight, but better. Its plot is similar to Dark of the Moon, with something going on the Moon. Age of Extinction, involving KSI. And The Last Knight, involving Nemesis Prime, but without Optimus Prime being a Knight.
This is the closest we'll ever get to Transformers 4.

Transformers Shadows Rising is an arcade lightgun game released by Sega for Sega RingEdge 2. Developed by Sega Shanghai Studio and Sega Amusements International, it is the successor to 2013's Transformers Human Alliance, and was first released in western territories in 2018. It saw a release in Japan in April 2020. The evil Decepticons are at it again, this time trying to use the Dinobots as their pawns in the fight for world domination.

This came out in 2018. It would make sense if it was TLK or Bumblebee based but it some weird mix of the first 4 TF films
This is better than transform's age of extinction.

I'd love to have an expansion arcade that has this and Human Alliance. I always wanted to play both games for the longest time and sadly only played the first one in a Dave & Busters that now closed down

Optimus Prime was iconic voiced with Peter Cullen in the Transformers Shadow Rising
He wasn’t. I’m certain Peter Cullen was too busy to assist in a project like this. I do wish he did. Hearing the scuffed dialogue in his voice would have been hilarious. I know Peter’s voice. That ain’t him. He sounds good at times but it’s not him.

I wish there REALLY was a sega game of transformers on consoles, it would've been in the league with the upcoming outright games transformers game and transformers reactivate. That would've been Cool!!!!

I guess they would used this plot for transformers age of extinction of transformers shadows rising plot in AOE flim that could have been really good of a plot I think
The only character of one the Decepticons we know is barricade I would love to see barricade in transformers shadows rising because we know the transformers AOE and TLK that barricade survive the battle of Chicago whe he leg blew up I think play dead because none of the NST soldiers wouldn’t even notice yeah I wish he was in the game but with TLK body but with his original head form the concept art of trasnformers TLK barricade
