    My dad worked at Sullair from 1977 to 1989. The stories he told about the country club like benefits offered to the employees didn't seem real until I saw the segment today. He would probably still be working there if not for our family's move to a warmer climate in 1989. Most of his friends/co-workers retired in their 50s, much better off than the average factory worker during that period.

    Thanks for sharing , i have been using and repairs these compressors for years here in the caribbean , they are real performers in our climate , the 375 DPQ can really handle tuff condition..... always wonder where they were manufactured .

    Wonder if they have any minorities and/women who work there now?

      My dad works for them and yes, they do. I have no idea what percentage of the workforce they constitute, but Dad thinks it's fairly well-integrated compared to other companies he's encountered.
      A lot of the perks mentioned in the video are no more, though, as one might guess.
