(majority of) Sigs aint 3x the price of a Glock lol. Glocks are pretty basic offerings as far as features go, a no frills model from Sig is literally the same price most the time... 43x/p365, 17 or 19/p320... Trying to compare any Glock to say a 226 Legion isn't remotely apples to apples.

@@superrad1659 I feel ya. Took me 20+ years to warm up to Glocks. They were the rage with many Leo. I thought “To dang light for anything hotter than 9mm”. I finally warmed up after watching them digest thousands of rounds after being beat on the job. Throw in the average Joe can usually repair an internal failure without a machine shop or an experienced GS assist. They’ve proven themselves in crucible of first responder/military use. There’s no arguing their track record.
I bought a Springfield Garrison that had feeding issues at first. Really made me not have faith in it. But after shooting about 50 rounds through it hasn't jammed since. My G19 and 21 were bought used, both gen3's, have never malfunctioned after thousands of rounds. Just got a FN Reflex yesterday and shot it this morning for the first time and filled both mags up and emptied both. It ran flawlessly. Didn't have any feeding issues, even when loading the first round, didn't shoot low and left like many people say theirs does. Also shot 2 mags through the Garrison .45 and it ran flawlessly too. So for it's been a good morning.
I purchased my Wilson Combat P320 carry last year, and I love it. I’ve run it hard never a malfunction. Just a pleasure to shoot and carry. I still have my 1911 colt combat commander from Wilson from 40 years ago. Chad, I enjoy your shows and watch them often, I’ve learned quite a bit from you and I appreciate it.
Specifically on weapons I agree. Now if you mean women there you and I disagree. Because the saying is " beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." Meaning is according to perspective. But as far as weapons I agree beauty in weapons isn't as important.
I have both the Glock and the Sig and have ZERO issues with both! I just really dont like the angle of the grip on my Glocks , but the Sig Sauer just has the right angle to shoot and I don’t have to over correct my grip.
I have both myself. I find myself carrying my 320's more than my Glocks. Definitely enjoy the grip angle better than the Glocks. I love my Glocks as well, but my Sigs are my EDC now.
Thank you. I carried a p226 in the navy and carry p365xl every day and havnt had an issue. I have a sp2022 in .40 and never had a malfunction either. For me if you go into something with negativity from jump then you stick with negativity
Former 17 year SWAT Operator when converted from the wheel gun to the Semi we chose the Sig P226 9mm. We then transition to the P220 45 acoustic and NEVER had jams. In fact in the 80’s majority of Law Enforcement Agencies made fun on the Glock at the end of my SWAT days we converted to the Glock. Due to the grip angle I AKWAYS shot the Sig bette. I used to be a Non Glock fan boy but I can’t deny the reliability, durability of a Glock. I now like both brands
Yeah, red dots change everything, I noticed that too, my ability to use irons has definitely declined since using red dots. P.S. I absolutely prefer Glock to SIG.
My wife and I have had P229s for over 15 years and I don’t remember ever having a malfunction in mine and she was having some problems until we realized she was limp-wristing. Once she improved her grip, there was never an issue. I also have a P238 and the only malfunction has been with steel case ammo so I just don’t use that ammo anymore. My wife has a P365 380 and has not had a malfunction. The camera doesn’t lie though and other people seem to have problems with Sig so I don’t know if I would risk getting another one.
The Sig 220 series guns are not the striker fire guns , the Sig all steel guns are iconic and some of the best ever made like the 229s but there on the pricey side.

Three of my pistols are Sigs. Two have been sent back to Sig because of reliability issues (on little things), which were fixed. Still, no excuse for those jams. Bought my first CZ as a result.
The Sig P220 in 10mm is rock solid. It only holds 8 rounds but its rock solid. I also a fan of the Glock 20. If you ever get a chance to shoot a P220 in 10mm you will see. Great video and happy subscriber. Keep the 10mm fun coming.
I've never had a Glock fail to feed on the first couple of mags, but I've never had a Sig do it either. Either way, I don't necessarily consider it an issue. If the problem were to persist, yes, that would be a BIG problem.
True honesty here, the S&B ammo 180gr at 1165fps is the only ammo I've ever had an issue with in my XTen and XTen Comp. Magtech, Sig Elite, Blazer, Aguila... great! Winchester and Remington 10mm is just .40 cal in disguise. S&B still under power for 10mm but cheap to shoot for sure! Great video as usual brother, keep it up! I'm an "all gun" fan so unbiased honesty. That being said, don't want any malfunctions!!
Sweet gift... Have the Tech guy go to your favorite firearms store. Purchase or borrow the Smith and Wesson 10mm 2.0 M&P. The Performance center version runs approximately 750, the standard 4.5 in barrel version approximately 650 bucks. That's pocket change for you (so spring for the Performance Center version). Give it a run and a review. If you want something that's different and fun. Plus, a GREAT hunting handgun. Take a .460 revolver Long Barrel out to your range. No, it's not CCW. It's a hunting firearm. Something different to try and review. [Make sure you get the long barrel hunting version]. Just a note of interest, "some " semi auto pistols. Don't like "hollow point" rounds and will have feed problems. Because of the angle of the "feed ramp" on the barrel. They prefer "ball" ammo. Take it to a proper Gunsmith, we can do a minor bit of stone work and cure it. If the tolerances are tight it can cause this as well. Where as a "loose" tolerance hand gun , not so tight tolerances. Will not be or not be as easily affected by the "feed ramp angle " , and feed ball or hollow point. If you ever have a handgun built for you. Your Gunsmith, should ask you, is this for carry or competition ? Or a little bit of both ? A competition firearm is built to tight tolerances and zero play, for accuracy. You will need to "shoot it in " . Or you will have jam issues and stove pipe issues. But after about 100 rounds, proper break in a proper cleaning and lubrication...not overly lubed. It will be ready. Keep in mind a competition firearm is not only built tight to specs. But sometimes just a little tighter. Because it's expected to be shot a lot. So you want to prolong the time between rebuilds as a competition shooter. A "carry" firearm, is usually a little loose or sloppy. To allow it to shoot any ammo under all conditions, environments, etc. . Without any malfunctioning. Accuracy may suffer slightly. But not terribly, unless it is extremely loose fitting... poor quality. And of course if you want it for both competition and carry. Your Gunsmith will build it some where in the middle. Not to tight, not to loose. One last note... if the firearm has been painted. Cerakote... then assembled. It to cause brief feed issues... jamming. Because of the paint, you will see the wear marks (slide to frame fit). That can easily be cleaned up and usually will 'shoot in" after a little use.
i use the shield plus perfomance as my edc, i have never found a subcompact that even comes close to how well that gun operates. especially if you are a big guy with big hands it is more comfortable than any other i have tried.
I’ve carried a P320 on duty as a patrol officer, detective, and now vice, having been SRT/SWAT the entire 6 years… same gun, several modifications, thousands of rounds fired, never had a single malfunction.
Appreciate the content dude. Thanks for showing the reliability issues with the Sig. I have noticed on a review by MrGunsngear for the S&W performance center also 10mm, that it just would not take PMC 200gr. Seeing that your sig ran fine, as far as i can tell, with the other ammo it might just be certain guns don't like certain ammo. That being said Sig needs to do better...magazine tolerances and difficulty racking the slide.
@@PedroKing99 Is this your first week of learning about firearms, little guy? Hi-Point is disliked for several reasons, but reliability isn't one of them.
I have an Sig P 220 Legion in 10 mm, and I have never had a malfunction. It is heavier than polymer guns, but this helps cut down on the recoil. It has been bullet proof. I am still reluctant to buy an Sig P320 X in 10 mm due to some of the problems I saw here today, and in other reviews. I noticed that Sig is way ahead of most of gun companies in terms of new products, but often at the expense of reliability. Egro the initial issues with the P 365. Sig needs to stop using its customers as research and development guinea pigs. Thanks for the review. I wish HK would produce a 10 mm, but they are still working on an answer to the Sig P 365 XL series.
I have the P320 X10 comp and it makes a massive difference. When new it was having FTF problems for the first few mags but once I cleaned and oiled back up ran like a champ with 0 issues
If it were me.. a 500 Smith and Wesson revolver with a short barrel. No jams, no failure to seat magazine issues, round always in chamber and ready. No feed issues... point and shoot ! 500 Smith and Wesson son.. getcha one !
Thanks for the video ... I gave my G40 to my son (due to an arthritic index finger / trigger well issue) and I'm looking for a 10mm replacement and because of you, I found it. I'm normally a Sig guy (all my 9mm are Sigs) until I jumped to 10mm and bought all Glocks which are now all my sons.
See ! There is always issues with the Sigs. I want to get one but dang. Never one issue with my Glocks and a Smith… Not 1 even out the dang box in many years and I’m an old fart. Folks are having issue with sigs new Fuse 9mm also. Bring the price way way down ❤️🇺🇸🤘🏻
I guess I'm just partial to the M&P. Glocks are reliable, but the triggers are f****** junk. Plus, with the jurie we have these days, it's a risk if you carry a modified weapon. If I have to change the trigger out on it, then I don't want it as my carry gun. I don't want to give these slimy lawyers anymore excuses to use than they already have.
@bobbyraejohnson so what is now? It's funny every video you see of a glock clone is it's the new 'glock killer' . If everyone is trying to beat glock, how are they not the standard? And I'm no way a glock fan. I prefer walther pdp, echelon, over glock. But glock is the standard for reliability and dependability.
I bought a Glock gen 5 a few months ago, I haven’t shot it yet, I considered an Sig, but this video makes me glad I went with the Glock. Thanks for you for the easy to understand content, I’m from Georgia myself.
I was part of the Pilot Program, in 1993, for NYPD, to transition from 38 cal revolvers . Four guns were chosen for the Program. Sig Sauer, Glock, Smith and Wesson, and Ruger... Only Ruger did not make the final Cut..Less than a thousand officers were chosen from a Department of almost 38,000 at the time.. I have carried either Glock and Sig Sauer for roughly 30 years.. Both guns have their good points...For the most part, it really comes down to a matter of personal choice.. Except one category, Accuracy.. The Sig Sauer will shoot circles around the Glock.. This is not a personal opinion, rather an observation.. Thousands of rounds fired on the Range, the Sig shooters consistently had tighter groups with less Flyer type target hits.. If you look down the line of Shooters, the tighter groups were usually Sigs. This observation was made over many years of Service, and Range Dates... Both great guns. Sig Sauer hands down more accurate
@@357_SWAGNUM_MAGA_X The Ruger P89 was in the Program.. I was first issued a Ruger, the recoil spring broke on two different training evolutions.. Both times the gun became inoperable, unable to open the slide.. The heavy gun of the Trials, was the Smith and Wesson. It was all steel, and very heavy...
Funny you should say that about the Sig being accurate. I don't think the Sig's mechanical accuracy is better, but between the ergos, the trigger and the sight picture, everyone seems to shoot the Sig well right off the bat. To me, the trigger reach is a big thing too. On guns like Glock, Walther, or Canik, the trigger has a long take up and it breaks all the way back against the grip frame. This puts your finger at an awkward angle and it's harder to break the trigger without moving the sights. On the sig, take up is short and after the trigger breaks you can still get the tip of your pinky finger behind the trigger. The same reason that companies like Apex offer 'flat/forward' trigger kits for guns like the M&P. My 320 is a compact in .45 ACP and I carry it most of the time, simply because I shoot it so well. Oh, and mine has never malfunctioned in several thousand rounds fired of all sorts of ammunition.
I ordered a new extractor for the Sig, haven't shot it yet. But I heard a few people saying there were no more failures to eject after that. The new extractor, has a sharper curved edge and grabs the bullet more. Ordered the little assembly with the spring from Sigsauer for about 60 bucks.
If you want to rock ! Buy a Glock . I don’t care what anyone says . I’ve owned them all . Fired thousands of rounds In Uspa and IPDA . Got over 10 thousand rounds threw my Glock 34 . I realize that there not the sexiest gun . But they work . Nuff said 😂

what is it they always say in the AK community? if it can't shoot steel, then it doesn't deserve brass... i guess if it is a precision pistol you need the ammo to be just right, but is the sig advertised as that?
I have a P320 and M17 from Sig with a ton of rouncds through them and found both to be highly reliable, but both are 9mm. I do think that getting 15 rounds in that smaller magazine could be problematic with these large rounds (although the fact that the feed failures happened on nearly the last round was interesting). I still don't carry my P320 as I still don't trust the trigger (even after the optional trigger upgrade from Sig). My EDC is still my H&K VP9SK (but you won't be fitting any 10mm in that). I do find that I like the grip angle and feel on guns like the H&K VP9SK, Sig P229, Sig P320, S&W 1911, etc. better than the Glock, but there is no denying a glocks reliability to go pew everytime you pull the trigger. Is it wrong for me to still prefer the Sig over the Glock? I don't know, but in woods, the pistol is my backup to my Marlin 1895 SBL brush gun.

Dont use grease on the slides, its better with a drop of 3in1 oil on each side or even to run it dry than to use grease. Grease causes friction and it will heat up and get tacky. Blessings in Jesus
How exactly does a lubricant grease cause friction? Actual question. Some very knowledgeable firearms people use Clenzoil gun grease on the slide rails and Johnny Glocks has a couple greases he uses. I’ve also used them for the past year and have noticed improvement instead of any friction or lag, whatever you want to call it.

Great content as always Chadd! I think those first two malfunctions were mag issues. Had that happen before even with pmags in a Glock and even in a 1911. You probably know but they just need to be cycled a couple times. Shot a P320 right out of the box once and had no issues whatsoever. Also could be ammo. S&B is generally pretty decent ammo for the price, at least for 9mm anyway. Can’t say much for 10mm. I’m a Glock fan but i’m getting more into the Sigs lately as they are just good guns!
That's not even the issue. Especially with shipping lube. And especially when other guns will shoot while dry and dirty. It was most likely a magazine spring tension issue.
I'm a RUGER GUY, but I've come to trust GLOCK for the ' it just works' thought. When they were 1st available here in the USA a friend was on the FDLE and had a G17 and didn't like the feel of it. Fast forward 30 years, all in on GLOCK!! IMHO
I have the P320 10mm compensated but I also have the longer slide and barrel. The recoil is snappy in the long slide but the compensated one is much more comfortable. Not sure if the compensated one will reach out to 110 yards but I can't shoot like you. New out of the box Sig magazines seem to hang up but after a couple of cycles they seem to work fine. I had same problem with P365 magazines but the change out of 12 to 14 rounds with Mag Guts makes them work well. Thanks for the continued postings. Vanish is good for me too.

I’ve had a S&W SD9VE It’s been in the night stand most of the time, where it belongs. Never had any issue with it but I’ve never been happy with how it shoots. I like how the Walther shoots. Smooth… and I hit what I’m aiming for. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m gonna get me one for EDC.

Just makes me not mind using it in extreme environments and worrying about scratching (etc) it up. I still have confidence it’ll go bang when needed . 🙏💕
Safety and reliability Trump everything, that's why sig is a no-go for me. Also, sig doesn't take accountability, they make excuses, which is a shame because they are far more innovative and make better looking weapons.

I bet the rugers were too heavy
@@357_SWAGNUM_MAGA_X The Ruger P89 was in the Program.. I was first issued a Ruger, the recoil spring broke on two different training evolutions.. Both times the gun became inoperable, unable to open the slide.. The heavy gun of the Trials, was the Smith and Wesson. It was all steel, and very heavy...
Completely agree
Sig is trash
Nuff said 😂
