SAFETY TIP for anyone who is planning a future DIY for a bathroom. Take an old rag & place it inside the drain hole for the toilet. Obviously make sure you can remove it when your ready to install the toilet again. If not you are allowing sewage gas into your home & that is not safe. That is something my Dad taught me a long time ago when I was a kid & helping him replace a toilet & flooring.

I wonder if any of you realize the "shims" are trash wood? Builders & carpenters use it when something isn't level & they are not straight nor precision cut. They are shoved into places to make them sturdy or level. They are not finished wood, they are not meant to be seen by the public. However, as someone stated earlier, it IS "Your" bathroom, do what you want, absolutely, just saying. Shims are made rough & odd sizes etc, again, not meant to be seen. Ty for the ideas though.👍
I looove that lamp for the bathroom. I love to spend time in the bathroom taking long showers or soaking in the tub, even watching videos while I’m doing my makeup and this kind of details make your places feeling extra special. Love it

Love a statement piece, that is what personalizes a room. Got a kick out of using a tissue box cover for a plant by the sink. Thinking out of the box makes DIY so much fun. Thank you for the inspiration.
I love the makeover! Annabelle is a lucky girl! I especially like the ombre twine piece and that large lighting fixture. It does make a statement! The whole room is beautiful! I wonder, though, if you should include a stylish waste basket? Perhaps a slim one would fit between the vanity and the wall, handy but out of sight. Thanks Liz! Hiya Liz. I always admire a large piece myself. Would choose the large modern fixture myself. That woodwork Ombre pink pattern is everything. Digging that oh so very much girl. You & the hubs work faboo as a team. Beautifully upscaled Liz.
that was my favorite project in a while. Very creative! I think i would add some brads to the corners of the frame with my airgun, but i might try and make it! It would also make a stunning headboard.
