Glad that you've got the chance to visit Marawi, Mark. This is the place in Mindanao that is very underrated. Now, the food of Marawi and Maranao can be seen by the world. Thanks for this wonderful food journey🇵🇭

@TheChuiShow , pwede ba Chui wag ka na umepal sa mga foreign food vlogger. Panira ka lang eh. Ikaw na tumanggi parang awa mo na. You're the worst representation of food here in the Phil kaya wag ka nang trying hard, OA ka pa. Please..

Sacorab(scallion), luya pageresun(ginger), luya tiduk(fresh cayyen pepper), with a few salt combine it to boyowa or mixer and that we called mailaw a Palapa (fresh palapa And when it cooked we added shreded coconut with small sugar in it that so delicious appetizer and a medecine food, the maranao food is heatiest food because their always a Kalawag(turmeric) and luya pagiresun(ginger) and the Sacorab(scallions) palapa is a secret medicine food of our ancestors maranao.

I've always been wanting to try Marawi since long time.
This video is a great inspiration for me to try their cuisine and also try my own dishes using their fresh seafood, beef etc.
The heaviest Tilapia I've ever tried in Manila was 1.750 KGs
I've grilled Tilapia weighing more than 3 KGs,
Bangus weighing 1.6KGs in Middle East ((imported from Taiwan)).
Am still looking for fish dried using modern hygienic methods in Philippines.
Someone said I should try Navotas.
    Bon Appetite Mark Wiens 🍻🍻
Just curious, is alcohol served in restaurants at Marawi??
