Also always check the events tab, there are always events that give you energy and other reward too everyday
Please recommend versatile units next, so new players can focus on some of them rather than just randomly build up something they don’t need early-mid game. I know we got tier list for PvP and PvE but it might be better for them to know who’s good on both PvE and PvP to maximize the use of their resources.

Yep, that's where I'm stuck at atm. I've got a handful of units but I have no idea what to skill up / etc. My Lab team is incomplete (because I don't have specific needed characters like Iseria), my PvE Adventure team is just slapping together Angelica + STene + whatever else, and my Arena / RTA team is about the same as my Adventure team. I've got quite a decent amount of heroes but I don't have the speed gear to complete in Arena / RTA and my gear sets are lacking as well...
I've seen quite a few video guides on early 3*'s to level up for hunts but that doesn't help for players wanting to move past that into 4 and 5 stars. The ML hero guides are good informational wise but when you've got like 1 or maybe 2 ML 5's out of 35+ it doesn't actively help you much with those guides...
Having an ML4* heroes guide and a RGB 4-5* heroes guide for new players would be helpful...also noting which heroes work with low gear requirements.
I've got SSB, Landy, Watcher Schuri, STene, Champ Zerato, Challenger Dominiel, Crescent Moon Rin, Inferno Khawazu, Lilias, Charles, Politis, Vildred, Pavel, Senya, Eda, Celine, Bellona, Ravi, Lidica, Kise, upgraded Mercedes, Cermia, Sigret, Vivian, Rem, Ram, Emilia, ARas, Charlotte, Destina, Kayron, Armin, Summertime Iseria, Flan, Lots, Yulha, Sez, Karin, ae-Karina, Bad Cat Armin, Yuna, Chloe, and most of all the Specialty change units.
Took about an 8 month break but looking at all these heroes I'm pretty much lost and spread too thin. I've got my W13 team set in stone with Angelica, Furious, SSB, and Sigret with a 70% success rate... but that's about it. I barely crawled up to Masters 5 in Arena but I lose pretty much every match I go against there now.
Sorry for the long post but if anyone has suggestions I'd be happy to hear it.

I would also recommend not focusing on RTA too early. I really stunted my progress focusing on RTA and not building out banshee or any other teams for expeditions/raid.
This! Even though it's my main focus to RTA in the long run, PvE > PvP in terms of priority for a smoother account progression

I find that expedition is time consuming, just wish reforge system can be scrapped and let hunts 13 drop 90 gear. It will be an incentive for players to farm more hunts. Some might disagree but it's just my opinion after playing for 4 years.
i mean I'm all in for 90 gear in hunts but they do not need any more incentives for people to do them since it's literally mandatory to get somewhere in the game

The gear system in this game is my main reason for quitting E7. Random tier gear drops on hunts with random stats and random stat upgrades. I farmed wyvern 10-11 for months and never got anything decent or when I did it probably bricked after getting all upgrades into def or some bs stat. Your progression is based on rng which is fucking trash.

I was prety suprised when I started playing this game I didnt expect much you know I was like oh great just another pay to win game ect but I didnt spend any money and got so far it was prety shocking and there is always so much to do and the characters are so cool as well I highly recomend this game ❤❤

If you are actually trying to get better at the game then I'd greatly advise against doing this:
As of right now I have no specific goal in mind aside from getting characters, though not actively trying to. That being said, I've started to pull less on banners and more from just covenant summons. I don't really mind much if I pull duplicate 4-5 star units this way, but that's also kind of why I do it, I just really like seeing what the game decides to throw at me. Is it impractical? Yes. Will I regret it in the future? Probably. It just feels more satisfying to pull a character I wasn't fully expecting to compared to a character I KNOW I would eventually pull then and there.

You can get a fair amount of them thru shop reset and gw but it still takes a long time
ok this sounds super troll but:
i love being a banshee perma rerolling gamer but all of my favorite units happen to be fire units. i cant find any info about this online but is it inting your new account to do the golem hunt event first before the others? ik the best is wyvern, you dont need to endlessly spam that but what is even the point of golem and is its gear useless for progging story episodes 2-3 before the account is ready to grind banshee/wyvern if its stuck with a lot of fire units?

Clorina is great, can be used in almost all pve content, it's worth investing on her in my opinion.
Even maxing out their skills are worth is, since they don't need mola. 3-star units are always worth it to max out.

I was Rank 67 and couldnt clear wyvern 13 lmao after i came back from not playing for a year or so i unequipped everything and went back to the basics ; Make efficient level 13 Hunts Team for every hunt after a week of some fine tuning i can run golem wyvern and banshee 13 with 95% succes and pretty fast. Now im just mass farming better equipment to clear more content edit : I really liked pvp so all my good stuff were on random pvp characters with shit hunt teams

day 1 player, and not really f2p. my leif is like 2k i daily hunt x40 and trying to get highest speed and 4years only 2 heroes 300+ speed .peira n ran haha
I don't belive ppl who say they are free to play and have been playing for years, I call bullshit on that, at some point you bought at least something in the store even if that something was few dollars worth, something like burning passion packs or monthlys. Free to play players quit after few months because they find the game uninteresting, ppl who like this game have spent SOME money on it.
For example play-by-play gaming claims he's free to play while sitting on 100k skystones, I call bs on that claim
You will understand if you had played this game since day 1. This game is very f2p friendly. You can easily save 1000+ skytones every week (most will be from arena of course). The only area where the game is not viable f2p is gear farming. For that maybe people have bought Leif's etc. Gear farming is so slow even for established veteran players. I can auto wyvern 13 in just under 1:30 minutes and still it can take somewhere from 10 million gold to 100 million gold to get a gear upgrade.
@maxwell sope lol I've played it for over a year, I know how many skystones you get a week, I also know know how many skystones it takes to buy stuff like passes and popup shop, and to summon on banners. Unless you don't spend any skystones at all you will not be sitting on 100 thousand skystones, I've seen account reviews of day one players and they aren't sitting on 100k skystones lol and they aren't even free2play. Influences that get their shit for free from smilegate don't get to say they are free2play either.
@@xFlow777 You don't know what you are talking about. I have been playing this game since day 1 and you can definitely get 100k skystones if you don't spend them on bookmarks. An average player can easily get 1000+ skystones a week. First Challanger rank alone gives 600 skystones per week in arena. daily rep gives 50 skystones so 7x50=350. Daily check in gives 400 per month. Automaton tower gives 300 every 12 days. Sanctuary gives 9-27 skystones every 12 hours. A wyvern 13 run can also give a few skystones. Every 10-15 days a new event can give 120-300 skystones. you can sometimes get 100 skystones from guild shop chest. I am not even counting the one time skystones rewards (That are something like 10k for episode one alone) from the story missions or one time skystones from reputation. All this is just recurring rewards that any average player can farm. You also get alot of freebie skystones from smilegate. You can definitely get 100k skystones. Sure it will take you a year but you can definitely do it. What you fail to understand is that once you have a big enough roster you won't need to pull for heroes anymore. If you can get 5k skystones a month (doesn't include smilegate freebies) you will have 60k stones in a year just from farming all the sources I mentioned above and with smilegate freebies I can see this number reach 100k easily.
@maxwell sope if you don't spend them on bookmarks loool how the fk are summoning on banners? That's all you've been doing hoarding skystones and have 20 heroes to your name? Any serious player who've been playing this game for a year will MOST DEFINETLY spend skystones on bookmark, hell, that would be your main source of bookmarks. And if you do have all the heroes already then you would be spending them on energy to farm gear to put on those heroes.
If you see a player with 80% or 99% or 20% hero jurnal and 100k skystones, they ain't fkn free2play.
@@xFlow777 They are f2p. You haven't been playing this game since day 1. They gave out free 5* moonlights. Countless free 70 pull events throughout the 4-5 years the game has been out. Everytime they fixed a bug or adressed an issue with the game they gave us free 5* units. There are anniversary events every year that give tons of free 5* and covenant summons. They also gave players their moonlight bookmarks back when they made changes to the moonlight pulls which resulted in some playres get like 100+ bookmarks. I myself got 70 Galaxy Bookmarks when the moonlight summons were overhauled.
I can go on and on but you will still argue. I don't know who you saw but even if I admit that the youtuber you saw was not f2p that still doesn't mean f2p players can't accumulate 50k-80k skystones in a year or so. I can tell you are a new player because the easiest thing to get in this game is characters. I got like 20 5* benched because I don't have the gear. The real p2w is the gear grind in this game. I am sitting on 65 million gold and I will consider myself lucky if I can get 1-2 end game gear pieces out of that gold. You can spend upwards of 20-30 million gold crafting and not get a single useable end game gear piiece that you can use in GvG or world arena or even reguler arena around champion rank.
