I love coming back to this video. I was at this show, what great night. Anthony told everyone to stay really still until he said go, then we were supposed to go crazy. makes for a really cool video that's for sure.
Dude this show was phenomenal... I'm actually the dude that's crowd surfing when Anthony green grabs my head! "I want you to hold in all your wiggles!"
Oh baby is that a flyer’s cap I see? Go Flyers! Also the idea for this song AND this music video is absolutely phenomenal because I’m pretty sure this song is about getting high and drug addiction. It’s slow like the drug is comforting, and then he freaks out when it wears off because he wants more. Conversely, it can be taken the opposite way too. Life is boring and drags on when he doesn’t have the drug, but then when it hits he finally comes alive. Around the first time hearing this song, I looked up a lyric video on it. Someone commented “that part when it goes crazy is exactly what drugs feel like.” That really put the song into context for me and has ever since. I do no advocate for drug use though. Please be careful everyone, and thank you Circa for all those hard times you’ve gotten me through
The first song I ever heard of Circa was this, that was almost 2 years ago and now it´s my fucking favourite band man. They are awesome. So, if you came here for Saosin, give Circa a chance, you will not regret.
Thats a nice start tho, now you will be able to appreaciate every member of circa and not only anthony as much of us do at least when we first heard them
I will never lead you astray ❤ Anthony Green is one of my favorite writers!I love Circa & I'm so glad I got to see them EVERY TIME they came to Denver 😁
Hell yes! I saw them live in Denver as well in December 2014 with title fight! They were so great, and the energy was incredible. All of the fans were so excited to be there. Easily one of the best shows i have ever been to
The most emotional, powerful scream of "I DON'T WAAANT" you'll ever hear in your lifetime. Anyone that's battled addiction should feel it in their soul.
Melissa Rodriguez I was relating the logo to their music, the meaning behind it makes it better, you don't have to be a dick about it. Also, I was being nice, but I assume you don't like that. Have a good one still.
Was it all burdened with sin Searching like a child in the night Trust in me, no one here could see I would never lead you astray Oh, all is lost, All will be returned in the end Oh, all we have All we have is somewhere to begin Nesting in the thorn bush, Blowing in the breeze Calculate the pattern That is causing my disease Child of the desert, Never had a name Climax on the concept of eliminating pain Take it in underneath the sun Washed into the surface of your skin Don't believe, Time will help you see I would never lead you astray Oh, all is lost, All will be returned in the end Oh, all you save Dare I say, just give it away Give it away, Give it away Lurking in the shadows, Nurtured in the dark Rise above the surface to Eliminate the spark Wild like a daydream, Soon to be erased Searching for the moment To evacuate the race Nesting in the thorn bush, Blowing in the breeze Calculate the pattern That is causing my disease Child of the desert, Never had a name No one here will ever be the same Not sure how to make it real How to take my time, how to come alive I don't want to feel a thing I don't want to know, I don't wanna I don't want I don't want to take my time Make it come alive, make it come on
I was a fan of *Saosin* when *Translating the Name* Ep came out so naturally I would fall in love with this band as well. I love all his projects including *The Sound Of Animals Fighting* which some may not know. This guy has so much material to write about, its insane and a good thing for us ;)
Such a great song. This is probably the first time they've used one of my top two favorite songs on an album as a single since Juturna. I'm usually so bummed by their choice in singles but this song is one of their best.
Due to living in Palmdale most of my life , i relate to being a child of the desert and wandering through life's mazes awaiting an exodus. Thank you circa and Anthony. You always provide the best life sound tracks.
I can't believe this was 9 years ago. Been listening to them since they started. Still in love, I need them to get back on tour!!! I've dedicated half of my body to their album art 😅
in an interview on his return to Saosin he talks a great deal about his sobriety and this particular sing came up.. he said 10 minutes BEFORE this video was shot he did heroin... congrats Anthony for your strength and sobriety.. mostly thanks for your return to Saosin .. keep writing deep music Man!
+Frank Fiorella well from a musician point of view, cupping the mic affects the sound of the vocals which could be good or bad, as does mic technique but its only really for bad if not done properly. On the other side from the sound engineer point of view, cupping the mic and mic technique can make their job harder an make the sound not optimal for the show. As of stage performance, thats just for the public, but not everyone is into it, very variable. Mic technique is not a nit-pick though, is very important and it really bothers me when people don't understand something so simple, although there are some sounds that might need a diferent kind of mic technique to be achieved. (i am not trying to fight here by the way, just giving some information from what i've learned from years of experience as a musician and sound engineer, it is true that people make too big of a deal about this sometimes though)
That probably was the only time the crowd was still and peaceful until "the signal"! I actually got a chance to meet Anthony and the gang backstage when they came to Houston. It was my first concert ever and definitely a memorable experience! This video is awesome and a constant reminder of The Warehouse Live!! #RockOnCirca
Their tour in December 2014 was one of the best live shows i have ever been to, i saw them in Denver CO. It was simply astounding how good they were, the energy was amazing, and all of their fans tended to be some of the best i have ever experienced in the live concert scene. I would dare to say it rivaled seeing Dethklok live... Highly recommend you go and see these guys live ASAP
When i first saw this video I thought the guys at 4:25 were just random guys having a good time, then I saw it was Anthony Green and a fan and it warmed my heart even more. :)
90% of these comments are about Anthony. Who happens to be my favorite singer, but aren't you guys forgetting to commend one of the most creative instrusive instrumental sections ever to exist.
@@ChildofbhaalJust saw Brendan and Colin's previous band, This Day Forward, doing reunion shows in Philadelphia. They were super original sounding, too, with some similar qualities. My old band frequently played shows with them back in the day, so it was amazing to watch them live again after 20 years!
@@daavidmurphy3562 That amazing! It’s awesome to see Brendan and Colin play music after Circa went on hiatus. Hopefully we see more from them in the future
Cant wait to see you guys in Texas. South by so what is going to be so sick! loved the music video you guys get so crazy i fucking love it! great passion and good vibes
I just bought a VIP bundle for their upcoming tour with Chon and Balance and Composure. Holy shit i have been listening to Circa ever since Juturna dropped and I've never had the opportunity to see them live and now i get to fucking meet them too. AHHHHHHHHHH MY EXCITEMENT LEVEL IS SO HIGH.
Finding this band and coming back listenin to both new and old tracks. I am so happy to be part of this generation simply because of the true talent out there like these guys. Holy fucking shit. Like. Do you know how phenomenal it is to be able to hear this.. To the deaf, my whole heart goes out to you :(

Been a Green fan since his Saosin days. Loved Juturna, but wasn't too happy with Blue Sky Noise. This new stuff is going back to the start though, I'm digging it. They're live shows are amazing. Saw them about a dozen times at the Metro in Chicago.
Imagine a song with Anthony Green, Tilian Pearson, Jonny Craig, Kurt Travis, Cory Lockwood, Donovan Melero, Thomas Erak and Jon Mess. Now that’d be an epic collaboration
Anthony and Jonny Craig are somewhere else on this list man. The rest just try to imitate. I mean, I love Donovan with Sianvar but he literally sounds EXACTLY like Anthony
I love coming back to this video. I was at this show, what great night. Anthony told everyone to stay really still until he said go, then we were supposed to go crazy. makes for a really cool video that's for sure.

When the song reach this point 3:47 I feel something growing inside my chest and an incredible desire to break things
Listen to this shit full blast with some good headphones with good bass. The rhythm section goes fucking hard in this song.

nice bud, ive been following them for about 4-5 years and they are also my favorite ^^
Ace / Basstrip I started from Anthony's solo album, and then Circa. I knew Saosin as the last.
Thats a nice start tho, now you will be able to appreaciate every member of circa and not only anthony as much of us do at least when we first heard them
eh i love saosin but dont like circa... VERY different sound. I like the heavier/catchier stuff
His voice is so amazing. I love the songs and how they make u feel. Every song tells a story. That's how all music should be
Can't explain why but this song's been stuck in my head as of late. The vocals give me chills and it just slaps altogether 💓
I've been hooked on this song this whole year 💚 Its just so damn good

Porn addiction is a bitch
This only makes me think about getting tattooed that Circa logo soon.
Safecamp logo*
Melissa Rodriguez indeed
Melissa Rodriguez Did some research, thanks for the info, interesting topic indeed.

Hell yeah! Their music is great!
Was it all burdened with sin
Searching like a child in the night
Trust in me, no one here could see
I would never lead you astray
Oh, all is lost,
All will be returned in the end
Oh, all we have
All we have is somewhere to begin
Nesting in the thorn bush,
Blowing in the breeze
Calculate the pattern
That is causing my disease
Child of the desert,
Never had a name
Climax on the concept of eliminating pain
Take it in underneath the sun
Washed into the surface of your skin
Don't believe,
Time will help you see
I would never lead you astray
Oh, all is lost,
All will be returned in the end
Oh, all you save
Dare I say, just give it away
Give it away,
Give it away
Lurking in the shadows,
Nurtured in the dark
Rise above the surface to
Eliminate the spark
Wild like a daydream,
Soon to be erased
Searching for the moment
To evacuate the race
Nesting in the thorn bush,
Blowing in the breeze
Calculate the pattern
That is causing my disease
Child of the desert,
Never had a name
No one here will ever be the same
Not sure how to make it real
How to take my time, how to come alive
I don't want to feel a thing
I don't want to know, I don't wanna
I don't want
I don't want to take my time
Make it come alive, make it come on
