      right on. Glad you liked it! There's one thing though, when you ride lift assisted stuff of this caliber....it sorta makes everything else seem "meh".... like going from the finest, filet-de-mignon to minute steak lol.

    Was there last summer, Histoire sans fin is definitely one for the books, Lot's of the trails were not open yet (under construction) , makes me want to go back for sure.

      man, HSF is unreal. I dream of going back with an enduro bike, maybe I'll just rent one of their RM altitudes. There's still about half the trails I didn't do AND they just added two new trails, Ping-Pong and Funky Fungi... they have room for ALOT more too.

      @@bikeninja956 yeah for sure, did it with my Enduro bike. Always nice to be riding with others on gnarly trails.

      Good day, you need to check out Free Ride Quebec’s video testing out Funky fungy, ping pong and the new gros boeuf! Omg a must do… looks awesome.

    Having parked at the top, one needs to remember to start before the lifts opens for the day. It allows one to get a complete run in before the lift opens for the day. We messed up so only got 5 complete runs in. Next time we shall be able to get at least 6 runs for the day.

    • @bikeninja956
      @bikeninja956  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah never thought of that. What is the plan if you have a major mechanical or injury, in the middle of the hill, @ say 5:00 P.M ?

    • @bikeninja956
      @bikeninja956  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it would be as big of an issue if you ended up with a major mechanical issue, in the middle of the hill (assuming super late in the day), if you're on a green run, you could probably walk back up fairly easily... much more of PIA on the Blue's or blacks. Even walking down HSF would be a good hour or two...but if push came to shove, I'd rather go down than up. Hence parking down below. It makes me wonder if they allow the lifts to be re-open for special cases. That would be cool.

    • @michaeltiffe6341
      @michaeltiffe6341 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bikeninja956 I think if a mechanical happens it can be sorted out as opposed to the longer drive to get to the bottom. That must have added a bit of time for sure as further east and looping back at the bottom. Personally I would assume that the staff would assist if needed in that occasional situation.

      @jonathanbrazeau970 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaeltiffe6341 Yeah it's about an extra 25min vs. parking at the top. Another thing is you might be able to get a ride up back to the top from someone at clubmed if you somehow missed the last lift, not a huge deal I guess but still think I'm a base mountain parker for now :)

    hey everyone, I notice the video quality of this upload right now is slightly low. It's a big file so TH-cam bumps up the video quality the more likes and views things get. So if you like what you see, don't forget to smash that like button! thanks/merci!

    Hey quick question do they rent out bikes here? Or do you think my 140/130 trail bike will be fine here?

    • @bikeninja956
      @bikeninja956  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      yeah they rent Rocky Mountain enduro bikes. Highly recommend renting one. I was really wishing I had an Enduro bike at the time. You can get down any hill on any bike, but there is always the right tool for the job and an enduro bike would be the best fit for this venue. Have fun!

    • @bikeninja956
      @bikeninja956  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      oh no worries. Probably 30-45min if you take a few breaks, then get into Basilic and Pesto. It's a crazy trail, almost too long.
