Nilou and cyno are released in the same patch so I think it's really cool how the contrasts between them was designed. Nilou is kind, peaceful und passionate like the day while cyno seems rather emotionless (on the outside) like the night. But their colourscemes are the complete opposite. Nilous entire trailer is dark blues with the stage and her blue costume while cynos takes place in the middle of the day in a golden desert. His outfit also being goldish brownish. So nilou is gentle like the moonlight while cyno is harsh like the burning sun in the desert. I really love this

I felt English really captured her calmness and her playfulness. Hands down I’m switching to EN just because of her alone.
actually eng voice actors do their best, paimon can be a bit noisy compared to other dub but the rest actually good, you can tried kokomi voice, it's also soothing, many more also good XD

@@starryskyhighway9628 It's all about convenience and perception. A lot of the dialogue was never really written with English as the native language, so it sounds really weird when translated over to English and you hear it for the first time. The translators try their best though and it has certainly improved compared to at the start of the game. Also, mostly because we understand what they're saying so the cringey dialogue will be noticed as compared to other dubs like JP where we don't really understand what they're saying so we rely on the subtitles (unless you do speak Japanese then I'd like to hear your thoughts). I've also read somewhere that some native Japanese people who play genshin sometimes don't use the Japanese dub as they also think it's cringe, same as we do with the EN dub.
As for me I do somewhat enjoy the EN dub. Certainly better than a lot of other dubs out there, if not one of the best. It's also a matter of convenience as I don't have to read the subtitles and focus on other things while still being able to enjoy the story.
So calm compared to others, interesting change of pace.
