I am a montessori homeschool mum and I also use Orton-Gillingham for reading. I am self taught and channels like yours are fantastic for me. I would homeschool either way because of these new ideologies. Something else that I came to realise after working with my children is how many memories we have together. When I work hard to get materials on the shelf and I get a hug and kiss. They are so proud of what they know. The children say, 'I have a good teacher.' And then they are asked who it is they say 'my mum'. It's the most flattering thing I have ever heard. I am telling you. That's not to say that we don't have bad/difficult days. But I wanted to talk about the positives. Yes, we are the most important teacher to our offspring. Everytime parents outsource ALL the academic learning it is never as good as if they got involved even if it was just following up and making sure the children understood what they were being taught by the external people. Our involvement makes a world of difference. Big Aha moment when you said teaching can be skills based! Faith is very important. We will return to our creator and you are very correct in not wanting to have been involved in teaching sin because then you actually not only take on the sin of the teaching itself but of their actions too if they follow your words. It's best to protect yourself. Allah says, 'Save yourself and your family from a fire whose fuel is men and stones.' Stand firm, stand strong, Allah loves the truth and He loves those who remain patient and steadfast in the trials we go through in life.
I went through that problem in high school. I didn't know why I was being forced to learn to stuff and it had no value for me. Now that I'm older, there are a lot of things I wish I had paid more attention to, but without a skill application to go with the academics, I didn't value it.

Boise State University made a classroom of calculus 1 students take a test with material we were not taught. Why? Because our teacher with three levels of DEI protection was made immune to accountability for missing a week of class. Though I may have used harsh language, the math department holding the students accountable by saying if we didn't do well on this test it was WE who were letting THEM down, incurred the wrath of God. In my opinion. I have the emails. I have receipts. Start with eliminating wokeness from your schools. Because just like in Soviet Russia...anyone failed by the system was made an enemy of that system. I passed with an 81...class average 71. This was our first exam. The problem persisted the entire semester without a single person being called up for questioning by the School itself.
Academic or apprenticeship should be decided upon by 12 or 13 years old, depending on the grades of the child. The way it has been done in central Europe since very long time. At least a child can say I’m a butcher baker candlestick maker Mechanic. This nonsense about going to college -it’s not for every child
Montessori created the Erkinder for the 3rd plane of development - that's the farm school or apprenticeship for the 12-18 year old age group. It's not very popular in the USA, but there is an Erkinder in Ohio.

Thank you for your beautiful words
Children don’t know where they belong and why they’re learning the stuff.
Thanks for your talk
