I remember finding out that you could ring the doorbell by accident. One day, I was just fooling around in Lakeside and randomly went up to the house and Tanner magically rang the doorbell. I thought it was so cool that the game could do that.
That's pretty sweet that this game helped you learn English! I will take your requests into consideration. I will definitely try to upload some of the Driver 2 soundtrack on here. And to answer your last request, the name of the song in the cutscene that played in the first mission of Las Vegas is called Fever by Dust Junkies.
Lol I've fooled around with that garage numerous times... Me and my bro would always try to fit as many cars as we could into that garage but some would always disappear in the process defeating the purpose. I would do a similar scenario in a parking garage in North Las Vegas where I would park the cars in the spaces and try to fill up the garage... fun times!
Thanks. I use the Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 plugin for the graphics. I record the footage using FRAPS and render out the video in Sony Vegas 8 Pro as a high quality wmv.
The way you mentioned seems to be right... basically, as you mentioned, you load the game with the ISO. You press continue and when the game tells you to insert Disk 2, you insert the disk in the drive. After doing this, you press ESC and go to file then Run CD-Rom. This way seems to be right, but its been a while since I've played Driver 2 on my computer... I will try to experiment within the next few days and reply back if any success comes up. For now, just keep trying different combinations.
Must be because that part of the city has a higher fps, thus giving you that impression, which, might be true if you stop to think about it..i've used to notice it back when i used to play this game too,i had no idea what "FPS" was back then..
Awesome drive man! I like Vegas right beacause of it's large roads that make easy to drive and zig-zag around cars to make the cops crash up! But you rocks man! =)
Rasermann999, I have always noticed this minor glitch : ). Yes, the seconds in the game are longer than normal seconds. They are about 30 milliseconds longer than normal seconds (at least thats what I've observed over the years of playing this game lol).
Hey kasper, I was using ISO's of my CDs when I was playing this. I found that running the game off of the hard drive is so much better than running it from CD. As for your problem, I had the exact same problem when Las Vegas came up. If I remember correctly, when the message came up what I did was insert the original Disk 2 CD and play one mission off of the CD as normal. I then saved it when the mission was done and then just loaded the disk 2 ISO from then on during the undercover mode.
@Hyalyago yea i would of thought there would be less time left but i guess its hard to time it correctly but yea mess with caines fence and your screwed
HAHAHA, don't mess with him, he's a bad-tempered man, and could end up ironically "calling the police" or just sue you for destroying the private property. XDDDDDDDDDD
Hmnnn, do you really think someone would set a bomb in a car with so much time till the explosion, so you would have time to react??? Just a thought. By the way, you ram through Caine's fence. You'll have to give him some explanations!!! XDDD
I did a "hard mode" variant, except it's Vasquez's henchmen chasing you with their pickups (since at the beginning of Car Bomb, a Pickup is used as an escort and getaway car): th-cam.com/video/heBvfMThD-U/w-d-xo.html
This is too classic, youtube at its best, the stupidity. 3 thumbs up ?? For what ?? Being a sissy ?? Get the most out of your games I strictly play Driver in first person as well..all except for ramming missions, what a pain to stay on their sides
0:27 , 0:33 Caine: "Can you believe the stones on Vasquez? He sends me a car packing C4... we're gonna gift wrap it back!"

love how the ticking noises give this mission a feeling of impending doom
Canine:You did well but you owe me an explanation
Tanner: What
Caine:What the Hell happened to my fence

Oh yeah one of my favorites. I just love the dialogue with Kane when the mission starts.
Been a long time but thanks
Stop your vehicle!.... Boom!.... We've lost them

I didn't realize while driving the car the timer was going higher pitch if more time expired.

I always found this mission enjoyable

Oh if you take a spin in vegas , in that house you can really ring the door bell other than that , you can also open the garage.
Awesome drive man! I like Vegas right beacause of it's large roads that make easy to drive and zig-zag around cars to make the cops crash up! But you rocks man! =)

Glad I'm not the only one to notice that!

Almost all of the missions in driver 2 pissed me off so many times but after all the madness I did however beat the game
LOL, at the end of mission. Vasquez's Casino is badly damaged. Doesn't look like the explosions did hardly a thing. XD
I want to live in Lakeside.
I was saying the exact same thing when I first explored Lakeside in-game.
Awesome mission.
