I still think the cockpit of the Airbus A320-Family is the most beautiful workspace ever. And watching this video makes me even more sure in this opinion. Thanks Dominic :)
What a beautiful day to fly! Will be flying into London and Terminal 2 for the first time with the wife in a couple of months. Really looking forward to it! Thanks for the video.....great job!
Mr. Dnhug, first of all let me say how much I love your videos, I am fascinated by airplanes and your videos are among the best I've seen. Second I assume that you are using a GoPro (just bought a new GoPro Black myself and am learning how to use it), I was wondering what speed you used in this for your playback as the planes seem to be going much faster when taxiing. Thank you sir. You keep making them, I'll keep enjoying them.
I have fear of flight (if there is such a thing), and I use these videos to sort off reassure that there is nothing to worry about - you know, the pilots seem to know what they're doing. I have one request: though it's great that you include taxiing, so we can experience some of the takeoff-procedures, perhaps you could also add a few extra minutes in the other end, so one may experience a full takeoff. I think it would help us 'fearfull' a lot. I hope you find it usefull. :-)
Thank You very much Sharon! I fly over your house alot then :) This was shot with a gopro3 as I remember. And it gets attached with a suction mount. And yes indeed, a 3rd one would release. But where.. Best regards, dominic
***** Thank you for your response, I wasn't expecting it :D. I live to the left of the reservoirs when taking off! looool Very good camera for the price, expected it to be in the thousands, amazing quality. 3rd Runway at Heathrow, the land and village have been purchased and big compensation pay outs, but big protests, just like with terminals 4 and 5. NIMBY's moaning, quite happy to fly and use airports though.
+John Smith It's the runway! You get the same thing in your car on some roads and bridges. It's just more noticeable because of the speed the aircraft is traveling at.
Basically it's the front landing gear which runs over the centre of the runway and is virtually directly below the cockpit. it makes this noise as runways have lights (like cats eyes on a road) and if the aircrafts front gear is running directly over the centreline you hear that thumping noise. As a passenger in the back you'd generally never hear this as the main landing gear are either side of the centreline. hope this helps...:)

FERNANDO ILIDIO Thanks Fernando, I make several Versions of most of my Videos, Long Versions, and a timelapsed Version of it. Hope you can enjoy thee normal speed Ones even more then, im uploading as much as never before lately. Cheers, thx again, dominic
I like your videos but this one is a bit useless. You don't see a single movement or manipulation by pilot and that's the most interesting part. Thanks anyways
***** that aint the most interesting part for me Sir. My fav Viewpoint so far is the classical "Noseview", where you dont see anything but the scenery and the Nose of the Plane. Its all about the imagery and not about the pilots and their manipulations to the autopilot. Thanks for watching anyways, cheers, dom
+dnhug I agree with you 100%. IMO, who really want to watch someone twisting dials for auto-pilot settings. The beauty of the plane thundering down the runway with scenery flying past, nose up and ground objects getting smaller as the aircraft gains altitude...that's where it's at! The best is when the plane breaks through an overcast sky...sun on the clouds...BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing!
i love when they do fast spin ups of the engine for takeoff, so much torque we feel

Really pleased you're showing the pushback and taxi instead of just t/o roll and climb
Great view as usual. Nothing like being in the cockpit. Thanks for sharing.
the most enjoyable moments of the the whole flight is taking off,,, it takes you to aonther world, , thanks for the video, ,
Finally what I've been waiting for from you! Loved every second of it, especially the 77W crossing and departing ahead!

Its a calculated speed called VR (Rotate), it depends on the aircraft weight :)
always curious to know..when do you know the extact time to pull up
Kirk..Montreal, Canada
Yes, this view point is very nice..
more of this view Dom!
New Viewpoint suggestion: Above the captain or FO's head, next to the OH panel
Wow... how I miss it!
You flew over my house lol! amazing footage. What camera are you using? and how is it attached? LHR needs 3rd runway.

***** P.S Dom you would not like LHR today ATC down horrendous problems at Swanwick Hampshire. Computer glitch no idea when system will be back.
Quality!
what date was this filmed?
Honestly ff to the last minute unless taxiways turn u on
is thsi a private aircraft? I can't tell what the aircraft's name is.public or private?
What is the thumping sound as the aircraft accelerates please, it sounds like a flat tyre but I'm sure it's not that.
+John Smith It's the runway! You get the same thing in your car on some roads and bridges. It's just more noticeable because of the speed the aircraft is traveling at.
AFmedic6871 Well I've never heard it when I've flown..ever.l

So do u fly both the a320 and the a340?
The white lines could do with a lick of paint
Great vid's Hug,take no notice of so called experts like arsehole83,keep them comin.
How is it being a pilot?
What terminal is that
dude are you the co-captain of the flight?
How much do you earn per month?
thanks.
Is it possible for an airplane to drive in his reverse ??
Ofc it is... It's called reverse throttle. The engines spool backwards reversing the plane
@@zuhayr1337 No No Not, ! if the engines go the other way, the plane still goes forward, think about it. reverse would be done by the tug..
I understand, that's why i tried.
Cheers
oh duh! this is a AirBus right?
are you a pilot??
What is the registration please ?
G-ezjr
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE A319?
I like your videos BUT, PLEASE DO NOT FAST FORWARD THEM.
FERNANDO ILIDIO Thanks Fernando, I make several Versions of most of my Videos, Long Versions, and a timelapsed Version of it. Hope you can enjoy thee normal speed Ones even more then, im uploading as much as never before lately. Cheers, thx again, dominic
