I was lucky to purchase the little Bissell green spot cleaner for £20 and previous owner only used once plus came with bottle of fluids. I now use screwfix no nonsense carpet & upholstery cleaner @ £14.99 5ltrs and works great. Nice review, great vid again. Cheers.
I bought one after seeing it being recommended elsewhere. I found the suction was not very good compared a Bessel I borrowed and the head was too big to get everywhere. I gave it to my daughter with two toddlers which is really its target market and bought the Bessel. Now I’m much happier and more successful when extracting
I reckon I'll stick with my Bissell Spot Pet Pro. It has the most powerful motor of all spot cleaners in the Bissell and other ranges at 350watt. It also has a more sturdy footprint although the hose is quite short. Finally, it comes with a second nozzle attachment that's a bit wider and larger than the regular nozzle. No problems mechanically or with performance as yet and I've valeted many vehicles including 7-seater transporters with it. I like the idea of the Rugmaster's moving brush thing, but that nozzle looks cumbersome and too large for getting into nooks and crannies. Cheers for the review though, Dave. Appreciated.
Me too. Plus having watched the detail geek use one for about 4 years daily as a professional. You can get the pro for £130 now and for the money you can't beat it
Nice one its a great machine. i only got this one because i saw too many reviews on the bissell so thought this would give the viewers something different
Just catching up on your backlog you've been through some serious changes in the last few months! Watched this thinking I might have buyer's remorse on my Bissell last year. ICompleted multiple car interiors of differing conditions and it's been great. Choice of two brush sizews is great too. Downsides, it dribbles from the neck, the hose is mounted on the wrong corner, not obvious until actually in use., This makes the hose shorter than it was, which was already way too short to begin with. A review packed full of pro's and cons confirms my pre-purchase research was worth it. Really good video.
i should advice the bissel against all in its class, i had the rugdocter to but after a few months it dint do anything anymore, the bissel i use over 3years now and never had any problems with it
Hi dave been using this for over a year now faultess performance. I like how compact it is for daily use. I have a puzzle 10.1 when working from home ..people should look for reconditioned £78 is what I paid over 12months ago. All the best mate
Good timing between you and Forensic Detailing having spot cleaner videos up at the same time. I rented a rug doctor one to try it out and found that the head was really cumbersome when doing the fitted carpets in the footwells too, to the point that it made me annoyed, which isn't ever nice.
I swear he has hidden cameras in house lol. Every video I go to release he brings something similar just before hand. It's a good machine. I think time will tell over next few months if it's worth it
@@epicautomotivedetailing I've thought that about Stauffer's Garage and The Detail Geek sometimes, they so often have the same cars. One good thing about the rug doctor is it can be had for £80 from the Refurb store, direct.
Seems to be a few if these machines about now. I have the £50 option from lidl and its brilliant. Granted you wouldn't want to lug it around in your van but I have made her indoors happy by finally cleaning the stains I made lol keep it up Dave.
Indeed rug dr is overrated I wasted 499 on rug dr pro thing is trash’ hose costs another $125 so 625 what a joke’ suction is a bigger joke put your hand and you’ll see there’s hardly any suction’ a shop vac has wayyyy more suction and they r under $100 rug dr stay away plz plz learn from my mistake
Nice honest vid Dave. I got the Bissell a while back to suck up the water from the carpets in my missus's useless leaky roofed SLC. Our cars all have leather seats but it works well on carpets with G101 (especially after a few dump runs with the Landy) and a drill brush. 👍
I use the George numatic and paid alot for it here in Australia the hose attachments are no good but the actual unit is built like a tank and has great suction hope the company watches my videos using it and sends me hose and attachments.
I bought the vax spot cleaner for 99 quid, is great as tool head is smaller and machine so small you can put it in footwell of car so the hose reaches. Forget the auto brush, drill brush much better and will break eventually.
I'm using a cheap wet dry vac from Einhell that I picked up from Wickes before that I had a Karcher wet dry vac. I think they do a pretty good job. I use some APC in Surfex HD to get through the fabric and clean it out. I wonder if these vacuums would be worth upgrading to for the weekend warrior though.
Hi Dave, great honest review. I bought my rug Dr spot cleaner last year for £90. Like you pointed out that hose is far too short and the spray ends up all over the interior. Good machine for the price, I use Bilt hamber surfex with very hot tap water. Ideal spot machine but to be honest I use my puzzi 200. The rug Dr is ok for small spills 👍👍
Watched this twice !!!! And fixed my Bissell thereafter. I need something better than the Bissell mind. May even get the Puzzi yet. Anyway I’ve a question !!!!! I’m puzzled. What’s in a carpet extraction fluid. I’m using more and more of the stuff. It eats stains like an APC or surfactant. My guess is it is very similar ?? I even use it to keep the chemicals on wheels wet until snow foam.
Hi! I'm planning use Vax Spotwash Home Duo Spot for my golf mk5 from 2006. Seats probably never been touch. But even more now they need proper clean because I ripped whole headliner because disconnected 100% and some of that funny orange foam/glue stick to the seats. Like a brown fog on it. So I have Gyeon fabric cleaner, (fabric coat for later), Bilt Hamber surfex hd, Koch chemie pol star. Which one and in what order would you use? I think start from 2% dilution BH, then try Spotwash, if not maybe Koch Chemie stuff, finally if not maybe Gyeon. What do you think? Greetings, Tom.

Little product review for you Dave: Alien Magic green snow foam-looks cool but is a pain in the butt to clean out of every little crevis like engine bay etc etc. Alien Magic drying and buffing towels not as good as Gyeon drying and alchemy buffing Did fusso coat 🙈 10x the effort for weekend warrior like me verses poor boys quick wax. Probably is a bit shinnier time will tell. Yum undress, interior, glass, microfibre wash, wash, microfibre pillow sponge, citrus, tyre brush, interior towel all very good products 😁 Gyeon iron wheels and tyre moisturiser good. P.S how do I stop the rust flakes going over my shiny wheels as soon as I move my car after washing drying and polishing 😱😱😱😱😱
Currently using the George, it’s a bit annoying sometimes as the head is big and chunky but the suction power is good, haven’t been impressed with the rug doctor, the bissel have indeed a better suction power
