00n3gro bond I pulled the engine out on the weekend to put another block in it as it developed a pin hole in number two cylinder wall causing it to leak coolant into the pot.
awesome vid bro! just a question about the powerglide. did you use an aftermarket bellhousing to adapt it to the rb or did you use the castlemaine rod shop adapter plate?
Jenko3212 thanks mate! it has a jatco bell housing with an adaptor plate and sorry I'm not sure where the adaptor came from because the glide I purchased already had it on there.
Jenko3212 yeah you will need to take a few measurement and they will need to no the input shaft etc so yes it's a nice tight 3800rpm converter that's custom.
BrodR34 GT4 the gearbox definitely made a big difference at events like that and the car makes good hp for a long time which is another big reason to it being fast.

Brittany Kelsall I just put a crank trigger system on it and some r35 coils which will clean up the ignition system and I will probably see some extra power from that, other than that I'm doing no other upgrades as I'm happy with where the car is at and there's no point getting carried away.
Tim Morton I rate these m&hs as a better tyre, they're are 245 rather then the 235 I had on it to but I have done 6 events on this and 1500kms street driving and they're still above the wear limiter and they hook up just as well if not better then the old style et streets. all I'm hearing are bad things about the new mickey thompson et street 2s.
Plebb Productions Yeah I have tried the et streets 2's 255/60r15, did like 3 roll racing events and maybe 300ks ( admitadly hard ks ). But from brand new they wouldnt hook up from 100kmph in 2nd ( torana 140mph 1jz a340e ). I remember putting the 235/60r15 old ets on another 10sec rb torana and it used to hook in 1st lol. I may have to give the m&h a go. How tall are they compared to the 235's? Cheers
Tim Morton yeah I think I know the car, super and turbo charged the blue one? anyway these tyres are identical in height -26 inch they're are 245/55/15 rather then 235/60/15. when I drive mine at these events I come off the brake boost at around 50-60% throttle and roll on the pedal slowly and I have full throttle at around 70-80kmh with complete traction. At roll racing I was doing little burnouts and it I could basically just bury it straight away from a brake boost and it would dig in and go, absolutely brilliant tyres I reckon.

how do you find the 6766 compared to the gtx35 ?
Brittany Kelsall it made 50whp more on 2psi less boost and comes up on boost just as quick, it is a much better turbo if you ask me.
