Dude i met this old bloke in s.a with a 26/30 converted into his holden thunder...chopping amgs, and hsv gts like nothing..that combanation is amazing!. This is going to be my next project.

Can't wait to come up and bring mine, how did you find out the hp figures of the cars ? For 800hp supras they seemed poo.

+Sh Le the OHD171 Supra was on the dyno and made 899whp that day and mates of mine know the other cars that i have put hp figures up on. Hp isn't everything at these events though as you can see.

plenty of cars making bigger dyno numbers and slower drag slips ..Good example of a mid size turbo and well sorted car making a great spred of torque making it a real contendeter..
Adam Naylor wow you must be one of the few that understand that peak numbers are different to a number held for most of the power band! People can't understand when I tell them my car makes 573whp and I get out on them and they don't come back and they have 700+whp.

+Shane Herring Its a stock Vl Turbo diff with 3.45 diff gears ( standard axles and standard lsd centre). I roll on the throttle nice and easy and it helps it hook up nicely

Love it man, how does the R32 DET747 go against the VK?
Every time we race the Plebb takes DET down, if he could get it to hook it would be a very even race.

@@sircefiro it's probably got a fair bit to do with the rear wheel alignment set up, he needs to get the tyres standing straight up or even a bit of positive camber so when it squats the tyres still sit upright, he runs a bigger tyre then I do- 255/60/16 Mickey Thompson et streets and I run a 245/55/15 M&H racemaster drag radial (very similar tyres) so it's not going to be the tyre at fault and also a bit of power management down at lower speeds will help it hook up a bit better to so it doesn't hit the tyres so hard. He has made some big changes lately with an ecu change to a link so he will use everything he can to help the car hook up with the link.

Haha that's legit every video I filmed I couldn't care less about loosing a race I would post it up without a problem but unfortunately for you I guess I didn't loose a race! It's a 9 second car that works well on that surface so it's always going to be a hard car to beat there.

powerglides are almost like cheating lol met a guy at the strip stock ls3, glide in an old holden and did 11s. yeh great but ive had an auto xr6 turbo and there aint much skill in roll racing an auto lol u can smoke people while eating or drinkin in one hand
