You are too funny,Tony! You reminded me of my son, as a four year old, struggling with his winter parka! the dogs were very good for you, and what an amazing morning walk, rain or no!
I agree about the comment about the waterproof trousers outside your wellies. Also take extra care in the garden as at our age we don't bounce so well!
Tony, we in Canada (Vancouver Island) are so far having a mild winter. I put up a small poly tent over one of my raised beds and have planted spinach and chinese broccoli. Started them indoors of course. We will see what happens!!
Must be a Parsnip year😂 I actually grew some too. Only dug up two so far but so chuffed with size. Wish I’d put more seeds in now. Still not as big as your prize winner 🤞though!!
That is the biggest parsnip I think I have ever seen ! Will you be weighing them all in for the final winner? p.s. Your walks are bloody epic in that rain, my good man! LOL! Although that coastal walk looks brilliant, in the rain and wind it chills me to the bone just look'n at it!
Fantastic parsnips Tony 👍 This will be my first time growing them. As I only seem to have 3 growing and I wanted them for Xmas Dinner. If I pull them up now, will they keep till Xmas or do I need to pull them up closer to the time? Many thanks 😊
I'd wait till nearer the time, in fact as late as you can. Just one thing though, do what Tony did and scrape the soil away from the shoulders of the parsnip, just to make sure that they're viable, or you'll be going without on Christmas day.😪
Hi toney i grew Guernsey parsnip supposed to be 5 inch parsnip i had two just like yours lol 😂hope you and your family have a great Christmas love your videos
Just a tip Tony always wear waterproof trousers over your boots. Otherwise, when it rains, it will just run down into your boot
That Parsnip could be Christmas dinner on it's own. good one Tony
Awwww.... everytime I see your Daisy, it makes me cry 😢 Our Daisy was soooo like her but she only had one eye ❤. Well done with the parsnip 👌
Gorgeous, sure to be a winner. Thank you for the seaside walk.
Lol! That parsnip!!! I bet you’ve won the parsnip challenge Tony!! You deserve it! Xx

You're not the first to put your coat on wrong, lovely Parsnips. Looking good Tony..
You are going to need a huge beef roast to go with that parsnip - or two turkeys. Happy munching
