I love that raised bed of yours ideal for lots of crops and as we get older got to look after our backs. I have Mainly out of necessity double heighted a couple of my raised beds and I think it is the way to go for root veg.

I have had hundreds, literally, of outdoor tomatoes 🍅 BUT the greenhouse ones have been absolute rubbish😱. My sweet corn 🌽 has done amazing-it’s so sweet and tasty. Beets and radishes dire. You can’t win them all!

Honestly the last time I grew toms outside, they were doing so well then suddenly BOOM...blight..what a horror , So I've not done them again...also time and weather were a factor 😅
