12:07 i've never actually got one wet, but i wonder if these are the same "rocks" that we find from time to time in Europe. The older gents always told me they're the byproduct of powerful, continued fires (camp cooking spot) where some trash might've been thrown. When they're dry, at least those i found, almost look like a mix between a dull aluminium (rough cast) color and the ashy black of coal. I can almost see some darker tones in that "rock" in there, but being wet and muddy it's kinda hard to tell. I've never much cared for those, but they are good indicators (when on land, couldn't say in water) that the area might have other stuff worth looking for. My usual procedure is to start a radial find around them (if they're in the ground) and you get quite a few bits (trash, but still cool stuff). There's other people who start digging the area and they find non detectable items like toothbrushes, leather, fabrics and paper.
