What i like about the Villages, the outside is extremely pretty, clean and organized, just to name a few. Designing a complex , I'll call it . Takes a lot of time and money !!! . I used to live in Reston, Virginia and it was a Planned Community, the whole city (spread out) and big. It's close to Dulles, Virginia, Dulles International Airport.
Another great video, Rusty! I love the Eisenhower Rec Center. We are a military family. My husband was a Chinook pilot in the Army. My son was also Army. I’m sorry about your Eagles. My Bills are still in it to win it! 😊❤️ GO BILLS! Christmas in The Villages is awesome! Hurry back!
Thanks for your service Rusty. I'm fascinated by the fact that you flew B52s and U2 aircraft. I grew up in Northern Maine within 4 or 5 miles as the crow flies from the Loring Strategic Air Command base. My childhood was filled watching the massive B52s fly out on their cold war missions. It was touted as the 'closest AFB base to Russia', flying over the Arctic. Winters were cold with lots of snow! Unfortunately, it was decommissioned and closed in 1994. Were you ever fortunate enough to fly into Loring during your Air Force career?
Yes I did actually...the moose was loose. I was there when out base was down for runway repair....two weeks. Had fun but would have been tough long term. Subscribe Button: bit.ly/3aToJ3H
Thank you for this great video. Interesting and informative. I felt like I was on a personal tour strolling through the Recreation Centers. It was fun. Also thank you for your service. Looking forward to more of your videos. I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful large oak trees in the Village of Fenny. So pretty. Thanks again.
Thank you for this very informative series. The last time I was down there to visit my cousin, we had to go to the Lake Miona Rec center to pick up our visitors passes. I just fell in love with it. The nautical decor and theme really makes me feel at home, as i grew up sailing. While visiting, we also went to the Paradise Family Pool as our teenage daughter was with us. The people were so friendly and welcoming.
Thank u , thank u for the your vast knowledge and information. I may never live there but it sure looks fun to. Thanks also for your service 🇺🇸. Please continue your great work.
Hi Rusty I sent you a question the other day and you answered it today how to find the publications for the different rec centers. I didn’t think to look under the Daily Sun as usual great video very informative keep up the good work.
Hello Rusty I am loving your videos the drone footage, how you give details and explain everything, I was wondering I am 48 is anyone in the villages in their early 50 s ?
the answer is yes but not that many. Best thing to do is come down for a while and see how you feel. Most...in general...of the younger people are in the newer homes. Subscribe for new Videos: bit.ly/3aToJ3H
Rusty, well done! TV should take a hint and create their own TH-cam videos with guidance on how-to-do and how-to-find! ** Especially loved the spot about Fenney Rec Center, live oaks are so picturesque. And I had no idea Fenney Grill was in the rec center!! Awesome pool. ** Have you been to Seabreeze Regional Rec Center? Light and bright beach theme, you would really like it.
Very informative. You didn't show the exercise room inside of Ezell. It's quite nice. Hope you video Sawgrass Grove when it's finished. Thank you for your service Rusty.
Why on earth are you up north in January with this snowstorms? 😆 The Rec Center videos were so helpful, thank you! I’m subscribed and enjoy your videos. I’m learning a lot, just dreaming for now, but hope to move down there someday.
Thanks Rusty that was loaded with a lot of great information and I am sorry about your Eagles 🦅 but I have nothing to be happy about I am a Colt fan LOL
Another great video.. love all your videos very informative. Thank you for your service, Rusty. My husband and I recently purchased a house in the Village of Hammock at Fenney and were wondering if you had recommendations on lawn services. Like you we are not at the Villages right now and need someone to take care of our lawn.
I used Massy for now. They do the basics. But that is really not a recommendation. I will revisit this in a year or so. Subscribe Button: bit.ly/3aToJ3H
I am sure someone must have mentioned it already … you have a great radio voice OR as a TV voice over. other than that … nice explanation and viewing of the recreation centers.
You kept using the past tense when talking about Mr Ezell. He was still alive when the recreation center opened and I have heard nothing different. As for the art gallery, if we only knew someone with experience having a gallery…… 🤣🤞🏻 Good job.
At 20:21 the barn sure looks like the TA Mouton barn with the Grand Tetons in the background. Interesting the room just past the picture is named Glacier - one of the trifecta of beautiful national parks along the Rockies (Glacier-Yellowstone-Tetons). Not a photographer, but live in the Northwest and have visited many times. Sorry about your Eagles. Was hoping to see my quarterback (I’m a WSU alumni so Gardner is my guy) but don’t think it would make a difference.
Thanks Rusty! I would love to visit the Eisenhower. Check out YT videos on Colombine II. I was able to do a walk-thru in Bridgewater VA after it arrived.
What do you when outdoor activities are too hot to do. Can you cover more indoor activities for men. I seen the craft fairs and a table game in the centers not very interesting. Also do the rec center have a gym, and spa ( steam, sauna, hot tub inside).
Spa and steam thing...not that I know of. They do have pay gym and they might be there. Will work on the indoors. You adjust to the heat...or I did. Subscribe Button: bit.ly/3aToJ3H
My brother is a commercial pilot and wants to retire there. I just turn 55 and looking for a community w activities for singles, do you know who I can contact to find out?
Try this video. The villages does not do singles activities but rather the people in the community do. The Villages 55+ Retirement Community and Being Single. The Facebook Group Single in the Villages. th-cam.com/video/oKGmRdMzvCg/w-d-xo.html.

As a life long Tampa resident before moving here, I remember the “Orange Years”, we mastered defeat. My deepest sympathies.

No. There plenty of restaurant though. You can have parties or meetings catered. Subscribe Button: bit.ly/3aToJ3H
are the Regional Rec Centers the only places you can play pickleball ? or does each village have their own smaller rec area villagers can play ?
