    Mewing is just correct tongue posture. Every single person I've seen IRL with correct tongue posture has, at minimum, decent maxilla and mandible development. Other factors on top of this will decide whether you are Chad like eye hooding, nose shape, facial harmony, and Norwood level. No human is genetically programmed to grow Into a birdcel

      Mewing is to block mouth breath by blocking air breathing from mouth and only use breath through the the nose fully

      @@DezuFuck a real gigachad mandible is over the top huge because of androgens. Androgens are the main determining factor of the tallness and mass of the mandible. That's why men generally have wider taller mandibles because of androgens like testosterone and DHT. HgH can have a huge impact on mandible size as well

    I grew up in an Asian country and the desirable trait is not a forward growth or strong jawline. I have it fro my mum and hated it because it didn't fit into my country standard of beauty. Only when I came to the US, I got a lot of attention from girls for this exact trait. Thanks mum and dad for this genetics.

      @@3adir_ In some asian cultures a strong jawline (specifically a sharp gonion) is seen as dangerous/masculine while an underdeveloped jaw indicates a softer man that would be easier to control. It happens in the west too according to WW where women “date down” to have more control over their partners.

I did not know that this was a problem up until this video and I was always wondering why my right side of face seems larger (not muscular-wise) than my left; I chew on my left side. I am 16 years old with relatively low bodyfat (11%) so my jaw (specifically my left jaw) is very prominent. I would like to know if it is possible to fix the asymmetry of my face without any surgery. Thank you.

    There is a lot of photo proof online mewing works up until the age of 18. However, for those 20+ it can take five times longer so, you will find little proof online as most people will have given up or not maintained consistent proper tongue posture.

      this is one of the bets post, most people are young adults, looking at mewing their ages usually 20s maybe 30s. their already grown facially, the face is 90 percent grown by age 18. Most people do mew for a few weeks or months and give up, but for adults to get the same changes as a 13-15 year old get sin 6 months to a year , a adult would need 4-5 years. Tell a person who is a adult and is concerned about their looks they have wait 4-5 years for minor improvements they will blow-off mewing. You tell a minor or a 12-16 year old, now all of a sudden their excited because their face is still growing and they will see real changes in 6 months to a year, and their very young so by the time 3 years, past the changes are massive . Now their 15-19 years old with much better looking face out in the dating market with young women who are in their physical prime. By age 21 the face and head is fully developed.

    Mewing for years but 0 difference so I wouldn't have to many hopes for it.
    The before and afters aren't that convincing either if you measure the chin point compared to nostril holes. If you truely wanna see some difference look into jaw double jaw surgery. There you will see some differences. Also remember that face changes massively due to puberty and hormones. Look at bodybuilders for example. Their face changes massively.
    Since the investment is so low of mewing its worth to do it. Even if it does 0 facial changes and forces you to nose breath its worth. So I keep mewing to this day.
    Just don't expect massive facial bone growth since your tongue applies some preasure. ...

    • @Puma-ph5ep
      @Puma-ph5ep ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@thenameless2016 i am not talking about the exercises. I am talking amount the tremendous amount of testerone, human growth hormones and DHT deratives that causes facial growth, facial widening and jaw growth. The same can be observed by teenagers in their puberty, but with lesser dose (normal puberty amount). People assume that because of mewing their facial bone changes while puberty alone should cause that. Go mew, but don't expect too much. If we truely wanna see if it works we just need to do ceph measurements of twins or with randoms. Some who mew some we don't in a randomised trial. But so far as I know there is none of such studies.

    • @quantashonjamaldigglerbury4934
      @quantashonjamaldigglerbury4934 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Puma-ph5ep Think of mewing more as facial maintenance.
      It is true that those hormones influence facial development and mewing progress but mewing doesnt over come your genes it merely maintains your face and helps you reach your genetic max potential.
      In puberty your bones are much softer and malleable+hormones but this is not to say that its all just soft bones and growth if a teenager with 7/10 facial genes didnt do mewing but also wasnt a full on mouth breather his face would develop into a 6/10 and never reach his full max.
      Its like bodybuilding there are many people out there with great genes that dont know they have those great genes and never reach their full potential. Except with your face you only get 1 single chance.
      if you're over 20 you're done no more mewing start as early as possible in your life to reach your genetic max btw if your genetic max is trash mewing will do nothing if your genetic max is good then mewing will be very good for you

      @@quantashonjamaldigglerbury4934Facial growth largely stops around the age of 25, there are still at least 3-5 years ahead for potential development.
