I really like the Lullaby for Mergo it always gave me goosebumps. Imagine you hear the original on the elevator to the boss and after the cutscene is over this remix starts to play... That would be really epic. Someone should do a video like this :O
Imagine if this was a 3 phases boss. The 1st phase uses the normal song, 2nd phase transitions to orchestra, and 3rd phase intensifies and adds latin choirs.
Would've been nice if the second half of the Wet Nurse boss fight sounded something like this. Kind of like how Father Gascoigne's music gets more intense after he transforms.
I think it would've fit better for a different boss rather than a part of Mergo's, it's boss theme just being the music box gave the fight such a fantastsic atmosphere

The Bloodborne artbook pretty much confirms that Oedon is the Presence, and we know Mergo is Oedon’s son. Mergo is trapped in his own nightmare, kept from his mother by a being that I like to assume is mergo’s projection, similarly to how orphan had a physical creature guarding his soul. Great Ones are stated to be sympathetic in nature, so why would Oedon want to kill his son? I think his intention was a mercy kill, for the good of Mergo and also the human race since the ritual around Mergo is likely the cause of the beast plague.

To me bloodborne holds a special place in my heart. It was its whimsical horror around every turn that brought me out of my sadness and made me face fears I didnt know I had. This needs to be a tv series for real.
If there was ever going to be a Bloodborne 2, the final boss should be the Paleblood Hunter, aka your character from the first game. In the second phase they should then transform into an old one similar to the Moonlight Presence, and this music should play.

I like to think that this theme is also something the player character would hear when you found out all the truth behind the happenings of the bloodborne game and why everything went to hell.

This remix always reminds me of Marta from Outlast 2, she fits so perfectly into Bloodborne's universe, and could be an awesome boss and that would be her theme
nah like the original is so, ominously empty, that it fits perfectly with the tone and atmosphere of the fight, along with its dissonance, which at times makes it creepier.
Mergo, the Unseen Nightmare Just like his Wet Nurse, Mergo takes on a dark colored shawl which it uses to cover itself. With it, it takes on a humanoid appearance with four arms, like the perfect idea of man, the Peruvian Man (Rip name) Every attack from the boss inflicts Frenzy, but takes a bit more damage from Arcane.

Because it symbolizes how he's essentially Humanity at it's prime. The perfect man. The end goal of Laurence and Willem. And while his role is pretty miniscule and lore is even more, I think Mergo can be a good boss. Just like the Son of Kos.

in my opinion I think that this is what really should have played during the boss fight. The actual theme can pretty much be heard in a couple other places in the game like at the beginning for example.
