Replacing Ghost Trolling motor handle with TH Marine G-Force handle and cable

The ghost handle seemed to always come off! Had to upgrade to the G-Force cable and handle. Not too difficult! Here’s a quick view of the steps involved. Please like and subscribe!

I think that spring came out because I have to hit the rope to be able to lift the motor.

Can't you just tie the cable into a knot instead of using the keeper? I just bought a Lowrance pull cord to keep in the boat just in case.

not sure maybe. This solved the issue of the OEM one giving out on me though.
