This is amazing!!!!! I’m not that into custom bikes these days but you genuinely make a better final product than where the bike started! Thanks classic motorcycle channel for presenting this!
Gorgeous! That olive green is a great choice. Nickel plating explains why that much of it doesn't look like too much. It's so much nicer, and less in-your-face, than chrome.
Wow, what great builds! I have a W650 myself, just like you said with your 'mule' it's a bike that'll get you anywhere, anytime. Seeing all the work on these though makes me think about what I could be doing to mine too!
Beautiful machine. The seam weld on the fuel tank really was a great idea. Those ugly seams on the bottom of alot of tanks really make any bike look cheap on an otherwise great machine. Love it.
AAAmazing bike man!! what details ! so sweet. I would have hade a w650 but for some reason the one I tried hade some bad vibrations that dident go well with me. cant be more beautiful almost
Love what you did a d that's to say the least. I got somewhere with my 1972 Norton commando and nowhere near your finish even with the cash I put into it so I bow down to you.
Great, well done mods….I love the look. ..👍🏻. These days, W-800 my fav factory motorcycle. You folks, still riding on the wrong side of the road. (Tarmac) 👈🏻😉
Beautiful bike, particularly the blue one. I’d love to do something along those lines do what would say over and above the cost of the donor bike would something like this cost?
Saw this bad boy at the London show (I think) the video although brilliant does not do justice as to the quality of this build. Doing something in a similar style with a 75 KZ 750 twin, but nowhere this build in talent and budget.
I really admire the stunning craftmanship done here. But I cant see why its done? This bike was close to perfect when it left the factory, and putting so much money and work into it, it will hardly increase the price u can get for it. Not like a Harley were idiots pay the price spend to transform the mediocre product. So it might be for for your personal satisfaction or as a showbike. But I can confirm your theory of Kawasaki quality. My W from 2000 still original has made 283oookm now, and exept some of the maintenance (made myself) I have not touched the engine, still original wheel bearings, only thing broken was the rear fender cracking (which could happen on the first models before factory reinforced it) and clutchwire broken after 173oookm (which I cut 3cm and soldered on a new end part). Valve adjustment, only 3 slightly adjusted after 60oookm, next time checked was 161oookm, nothing changed, since then I havent bothered check. Thats it, I love my bike and can see that u love yours. I live in a country with sign N where we have around 5 months winter! Ive been partissipating a nice bike meeting called "W-650 treffen", a low cost arrangement (see internet) in Germany more than 10 times. It starts always on Ascension Day, aprox 70 bikers meets. They highly welcome visiters from far away, and with your bike I will guess u will be popular there, just tell them Knut recommended it.
A fantastic bike and build. One criticism those exhaust pipes look very low to me and consequently there's not much ground clearance when off road which is presumably the machines intended use. Not wanting to be too critical but this bike is far too new for me and so not a classic.
Here's Rick's previous desert sled build video: th-cam.com/video/9e0sWgEAg2w/w-d-xo.html
That's is one of the cleanest bikes I've seen, and definitely the best looking Kawasaki ever.

Stunning. There´s a thousand ways to build a W and this is one of my favourites.
Clever attaching of the front-guard-stays , a clean-machine that really does look 60's . Dave NZ
a piece of art
I love this bike - saw it at the Bike Shed Show earlier in the year....right up my street this beauty!
It's still for sale mate. I'll take a Royal Enfield as a trade in. :)
Consider swapping your RE650 for one of these! It'll make sense when you ride it with the origional format build from the origional BSAs of old.

Absolutely gorgeous bike! We love Kawasaki. Thanks.
Elle est MAGNIFIQUE! MERVEILLEUSE! Well done man!!!
Well done. I always wanted one of these bikes just for the bevel drive cam; the only bike with this configuration I would ever be able to afford.
Beautiful machine. The seam weld on the fuel tank really was a great idea. Those ugly seams on the bottom of alot of tanks really make any bike look cheap on an otherwise great machine. Love it.

Admired your vintage taste, and the many hours devoted to each byke.
Cheers 🍻
Simply a stunning custom bike. I have a Royal Enfield with a similar green and love it.

Had a w650 for 10 years fabulous bike had to sell it after leaving HK. My other bike was Kawasaki Z900rs
Gorgeous, hope to do like this asap.

Was gonna ask- jetting, til u mentioned OEM. My standard carrbs were impossible to jet with pods for low speed town riding
Lovely bikes!
I seldom like conversions like this, but yours is awesome.
I would commit many crimes for the pleasure of seeing one of those in my garage 😎
The updated carbs do you have a link to those and do they easily replace the originals? Big thanks brilliant build
Webike or Allen's Performance can sort you come carbs
Brilliant!
Very nice :)

とても格好いいです。
I wonder where those good-looking fenders come from?
Great engineering. They’d look good on some American highways near me.
Do you have any indication on price?
£19500. Can ship to the US.
I absolutely love it. Do you just build bikes for yourself, do you sell them or build to order?
Depends, mostly built to order, or build to sell. My personal bikes are never finished!
@@headlesskitten I know where to come if I'm ever in a position to comission a build. 👍
Looks very nice but I once sat on an XS650 "Scrambler" you wouldn't want to take it on the dirt
Hey I bought a stock but I want it to sound like yours how is there a tutorial video you can make?!
Don't remind ya self mate you really just wanted a 68 Triumph TT120
😍
is this bike 270 degree for it's motor?
360

They call me Megamonkey
Too pretty to take off road.
