i have seen about 10 videos and none of them have solved this issue...until i found this video. thank you very much. easy and simple, we have enough problems outside.
It is refreshing and engaging to learn from someone who is so clear to the point and economical with their words. Many people waffle or put their egos first rather than focus on quality content. TH-camrs take note of this guy.
Amazingly helpful, very clear for me a novice maker of 3 websites, the latest of which has been suffering from lack of Google recognition. I see why now! So thank you Henry.
Thank you so much, this video was extremely helpful! It took the headache out of how overwhelming the internet can become when trying to find and get things done.
Thanks for reaching out! It will be for 1 of 2 reason. 1. Your sitemap hasn't been generated yet - it takes around 48 hours for Squarespace to make it, if you recently published your site 2. You might have a domain property on your GSC - when you add your sitemap, can you see your URL before the box? If not, you need to type in the whole URL and then the sitemap.xml
Hello im trying to follow along but when I'm at my website, I do not see the same setup as you & cannot locate " connected accounts" is there maybe a more recent video? Thanks
Hi Henry, I really need your help! I followed the steps you said. Added my sitemap from squarespace and then requested Indexing as my URL was saying is not on Google. I checked 2 hours later and URL is now on Google. I’ve got 3 ticks same as your video. I just realized Google search console created me two accounts, one is http and the other is domain property. Do I need to request indexing on the domain property as well or just the http is fine? I’m a bit confused as if I try to inspect my URL on domain property it’s showing that it’s not Google and when I inspect my URL on the http account it’s showing that my URL is in Google.
Hi Henry , thanks for your video. My squarespace is now visible on Google. I was expcting to see my logo and an image from my website on google search but only the small logo is visible. Is it possible to show an image on the right side of the google search result via squarespace? thanks alot!
It is, but you will need to follow wider best practices than just connecting to Google Search Console - you should check out this: th-cam.com/video/XojwGUyQMpA/w-d-xo.html
😢Hello, I bought a domain on Squarespace to put on a website on Google Sites, but I'm having trouble putting the Domain purchased on Squarespace on Google Site, I think I need to point the domain to Squarespace, how to point the domain to Squarespace and how to put it domain later on Google sites, and how to put the Facebook pixel on squarespace later?
Hi there, I'm struggling with the google console part. I can link up google console from Squarespace. But when I search google console and follow your next steps, it's getting me to verify my domain with but DNS or Url prefix. Please help!

Hi Christian - depends upon how reputable and old your site is + how competitive the search term is. I would expect within 1 week for most sites, but again, depends on many factors.

Thanks for reaching out! You don't have to do it like this. You can just add the code as I showed in the video. You might not have followed the steps exactly, so I recommend redoing it. It's probably not worth doing the file download method if your knowledge is limited.
