Thanks for doing all the work it takes to make videos like this... you are helping educate so many people, strangers... and that is what makes you a genuine good person. There are so many people out there that dont see the value in good deeds... those are the same people that complain about their 'free lunch'.... Lol. This video is detailed enough to easily absorb knowledge, but not overloaded.... Video length is good as well. It's important to spread positive energy out to those who do the same. I want you to remember this comment the next time your in line for a coffee...Buy the drink for the person behind you!
Probably the most useful screen printing video that I have ever watched! Like ... Ever. Thanks for the guided tour. I will probably change my ordering habits after viewing this. Thanks Cam.
Recently I received the Easyway guys into the shop, they recomend the 701N to be apply with a scruber instead of apply with a mist... The same scrubber you use to scrub the 701N, you dip into a bucket with the chemical and apply directly
Fun tip! To open your emulsion container put it on the floor, and put your knee on the center of the lid, and open! That little bit of pressure from your knee makes it SOOOO much easier to open.
Could you do a video on the printing process of CMYK Images? And I would also like to know more about the limitations of screenprinting in regard to color gradients and solutions you've found in printing gradients Thank You!
Thank you, sir. I am currently getting back into screen Printing and designs. It was such a great job. Your videos have been helpful in reminding me of what it takes to screen print, burn and reclaim. I subscribed to your channel. Look forward to more videos.
Killer video man. Great insight to see everything you use personally. I love the shop too. Beard is looking BOSS man, would love to send you some stuff to try. Keep up the great content!
What up Cam. It was me Chad, from J and J Supply who started selling you the white IPG #500 tape and clean up cards. I use to call u all the time. But I left there last July so I'm sure someone else calls u now. Anyways thanks for the shout out and it was always cool talking to u. Keep up the good work
I am curious how well the CCI mixing system will work. My local supplier recommended the T-Charge system, which uses their web based mixing software. Another great video.
Hi, thanks for the vid. Can you make one on how to do the art work on pc, and then color separate . And print the film postives. I've watch lots of vids and still confused...
Awesome video as always! Love easi-way! So I was wondering if you ever have the time and the inks in stock if you could do a video on how to work with wilflex special effects inks. Can never find videos on the stuff. Or there might be videos on the end result but nothing really on the actual process.
Thanks for the video, I really expected some info regarding your printing press. What would you recommend for beginners? do we need a four color press to start? Why do you use that press as opposed to other options.
This topic is very objective, in my opinion srart with a cheap single color single station press, and see if you like printing shirts, if your into it jump right in to at least a 6 color 4 station floor press with micro adjustments.
Thanks for the upload man. When your blowing the image out of your screen, your screen doesn't get exposed where you're at? I noticed the garage door is open so some strong rays can get through. I'm trying to figure out where to place mine or to just get 2 one for the dark room and one out in production.
Great video Cam, we use several of the same products. A while back you were talking about the low micron screens that allow good flow of ink while holding better detail. Where do you order those from? Thanks Cam
OK, first off I'm a noob to screen printing. I'm looking into getting an Epson Artisan 1400. I asked the seller if it could be used to print transparencies for screen printing. They said NO. I then asked the same question on Epson website..they too said .."NO". that being said everything that I have seen on screening printing forums say this printer is one of the freakin best screening printers...so needless to say I'm a bit corn fused...any help/clarification is and would be greatly appreciated...thanks
Where do you get those black plastic jugs for emulsion?? I been looking all over google for last 30 minutes. Love your content as always man, I owe you alot for the free training :)
I have the triloc system and cant get it to work for us but many shop make them work. I dont have much opinion on them at this point. I will revisit them when we get retensionable screens.
We use ipg rubber tape from j&j supply. They are nice folks to work with. Why is water based ink different from discharge ink or is it? And is discharge ink different from plastisol that has an additive turning it into discharge ink like union plasticharge. Probably a silly question but some of the ink lingo and lack of informative/educational material that comes with ink makes my head spin.
Hsa waterbased sits on top of the fabric similar to plastisol. Discharge and low solid waterbased ink is forced into the fabric and reduces the garment, its softer to the touch.
Does your discharge ink ever bleed through the screen and onto the garment (post hardening) only to discover the pinhole or reg mark after running it through the conveyor? I've tried to tape on the print side causing a bleed around the tape. I have also tried using Blockout tape but like a preventive seal before inking the screen using long stips over the reg marks applying to the Ink side of the screen, somehow the ink manages to find it's way through... Any suggestions on fighting this battle? Spot gun won't do shit for discharge
Most would consider this trade secret. I truly appreciate your candor.

I have been out of printing for a while, you make me want to get back into it in retirement
Probably the most useful screen printing video that I have ever watched! Like ... Ever. Thanks for the guided tour. I will probably change my ordering habits after viewing this. Thanks Cam.
Man, you've got a good singing voice! Thanks for all of your knowledge! Total inspiration for my own screen prints!

Love this video! We use fast link emulsion, I personally love it holds great detail! We also use Supra and 701 from easiway. Keep up the great work!
Thank you my friend, never tried Fast link. I will check it out, your the best
Try the “Natural Gum Rubber Tape” from Uline. It works great on screens and taping boxes. Doesnt leave sticky residue on screens and its cheap.
I am curious how well the CCI mixing system will work. My local supplier recommended the T-Charge system, which uses their web based mixing software. Another great video.
Love the video
Thanks for sharing the information on materials

I know I'm a bit late to the party, and I'm not sure if you've figured out an ink storage already. Either way wide mouth canning jars are cleanable.

Great idea, that is actually exactly what I'm going to start doing, testing wilflex first then other brands, in different print projects.
Absolutely agree about emulsion containers. Never thought of pouring it into something else. Do you use any low temp inks?
Yes we try and love them but it so hot here we need to store them in a cool place like a fridge or something.
Thanks for sharing, one day ill get some balls and start a vid on my channel! lol

if we wait to long it can cause small problems but its manageable.

Use to get them from river city, looking for a place that also liquid tapes them, advanced screen print supplies now carries s mesh from marukami.

IPG is a bitch to remove if you let it sit too long... see if you can get Tesa from your vendor. It removes noticeably easier ... Awesome Vid!
I'm just learning screen printing n currently watching videos haha
That is awsome, thank you for watching the vids, you are the greatest.
Where do you get those black plastic jugs for emulsion?? I been looking all over google for last 30 minutes. Love your content as always man, I owe you alot for the free training :)

Ok question, where are your squeegee racks from? I've been on the hunt for nice squeegee racks! (Tom from South Shore Print Co... Canada)
May not be the right video but, is there an update on the Amazon flash cure? Is it still going strong? Please let us know.

I dont see the link for the tape. Intertape Polymer group is who makes it but who is your supplier?
Cam, did you ever find the name of your tape supplier and type of tape you use? I don't see it in the descriptions. Thanks, man!
J&j supply
The Print Life Thank you!! I also sent you a message on Instagram. I hope all is well!
What vendor do you purchase Wilflex plastisol from?
What's type of t-shirts do you use from gildan?
What’s the difference between water based n plastisol inks?
You ever try one stroke inks colormax series?
Why chunk the plastic containers? Why not recycle the plastics?
How do you get the ink in the condiment bottles?
What about your white poly ink?
Office art, print portfolio and sculpture tour please Cam!!⚡️🤘🔥📦
Where do you buy shirts

Next thing you know, you can’t form a complete sente.....
My IQ has dropped a lot since I started using retarder.
Wanna donate the stuff you don't use anymore?

Look into a more water proof emulsion, and use that emulsion to patch the pin hole after washout then post expose in uv light.
@@ThePrintLife Currently using Ulano QT Discharge
