Thanks for information. I got soy wax from Hobby Lobby cause I’m just starting out and readily available. Could I still use the 10% rule for fragrance? I want to make candles today. I have 8 ounce jars but I want to make at least 5 jars? So how do I calculate the recipe please?
you would benefit from the candle making survival guide. best for just getting started :) www.candlemakingsurvivalguide.com/courses/p/candlemakingsurvivalguide
Thanks for the tips. I buy the aura 12oz jar from makesy along with the coconut apricot creme from them as well. I use a 10% load fragrance oil. Still can't get a good hot throw. I'm still having a problem with my wicks and I use the HTP wicks. I'm just what's going on with me?
@@paigeeats7926 are you getting your wax above 195f and pouring slow? I tried LX 14 in these but toward the end they burned too hot. I do use Ceda Serica coco apricot not maksey, not sure if it makes much difference. 🧐
Thank you 😊
I’m headed over here from your last video!! 🙌

Try their performance cotton wicks, I double wick with 72 with the same wax and containers.
@@traceyhall7119. Thank you. I tried 72 but mine didn't melt evenly and gave me a sink hole. 73 Burns too hot and fast. I'm going to try it again.
