I have used the quote "I am loveable, I am love able" it's also really cool to look yourself in the (in the mirror) when you are telling yourself these things!
I read the book years ago and felt it was a great book , I recommend it to everyone. Nathaniel Brandon in his book said a confident person is benevolent because he or she knows who she is and has nothing to prove to others. The book was enlightening if you want to improve yourself as a human being.
To me, the root of all and most important pillar of self esteem is self love, which he mentions as the 7th pillar . Also recommend reading “Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It” by Kamal Ravikant .
"If your thoughts inside your head all-day was a person, would you befriend that person?" Wow, that was a incredible wake up call to actively take responsibility of the thoughts I engage in
"Character is what you do when none is looking...", It's powerful. "Living Consciously"... This is one of the coolest ideas, I am practicing that idea... When I came back from my office biking, I can close my eyes for three seconds and drive blindly and realize I am on my bike and I will crash if I am not alert! , I enjoy that feeling!
@@clarkkegley Just imagine if a man commented to a woman presenter that she’s ’plus freekin easy on the eyes’ on social media! Regardless of looks, whosoever is saying something of wisdom should be respected and heard.
I really like that would you hang out with yourself one. That point really makes you immediately aware and is such an easy shift to make. When you say negative thingsin your head just stop saying them and say something positive.
Love love love the idea of there being two types of people in the world- those who need tightening and those who need loosening. Boy did I need loosening 10 yrs ago- yay loosening! I'm a different person🙌🏼
I believe you should not "kill" your inner pessimist (or try to kill anything related to you), I propose to think about it as an ally that helps you check if there's something wrong about a particular situation or environment. Thanks for this vid!
Clark. you deserve all the success you have and have yet to achieve. I have watched you a month now and appreciate your time and overall attitude. Dont ever change. Thank you Graeme. Vancouver Canada
It is healthy to accept your shortcomings. However, be careful who you share this information with. Also, never share your humiliation with anyone. Someone can use it against you.
one of the most valuable, informative, beneficial contents in a youtube channel, keep it bro, all the respect from an Egyptian man living in Ukraine ;)

What a great video! Really interesting and I loved the personal examples. Finding it difficult to decide on the best point as there are so many. But the affirmation 'I am enough' really hit home. Thank you.
Great video, Clark! Thanks. My comment is that in my point of view there is a little difference between "esteem" and "confidence". Confidence reflects the way I can do something. Cheers and all the best
Smart, tall, dark and handsome with deep voice and a type A personality what else can a woman ask for😍 Greeting from Mexico. Ps Great book by the way, thank you😚
Awesome video. I just realized that How great I am cuz I would love to hung out with myself. I used to think that I am not good enough, it s a journey that being aware of what is going on in our own thoughts. Well done Clark!
By the way, I love the new and more professional looking videos. I like the suit, background, extra editing, etc. And the suit makes you look older and more serious.

Changes video to video - but a typical tracklist looks something like: SONGS USED: "Runaway" (Pierce Fulton) “youknowme” (Eli Filosov) “drift” (TREGS) “flood” (TREGS) “perth” (mi Ka Remix) “refute” (nimino) “Back of Your Hands” (nimino)
"No other individual or group has the power to determine how I will think or feel about myself." Thats powerful! Love this summary.
"Mistakes are not grounds for self-damnation." great quote!
Mistakes are a normal part of life and the steps to success.
I have used the quote "I am loveable, I am love able" it's also really cool to look yourself in the (in the mirror) when you are telling yourself these things!
Number one thing is to not take life too seriously. Life is your playground don't be the kid who doesn't play, and just sits there.
morgan martindale i love that
morgan martindale yeah through a lot of my life it was always living life in my head, and not actually living. that doesn't really help.
We should participate
As long as it's done consciously and with purpose.
"Dont take life seriously" is probably the stupidest life advice I've ever heard, life is the highest value and should be taken seriously

That is one brilliant man!
You forgot the 7th pillar he added at the end of the book, which is the love for your own life. Great review, I really admire it!!!
Underrared author. All his books are gold.
"My life belongs to me" wow.... love that! ❤

Awesome, Miles. Thanks for sharing that point again.
Miles O'Brien or would you mind your kids being around you
“ Not to get woo woo” lol. Even though many hate to admit it, on some levels, the woo woo works, and you just admitted to it😊
You have beautiful eyes. There is a calmness about you that captivates the audience.

You don't talk as passionate as some other people but what you say is very well thought thru -> so LIKE LIKE LIKE
I heard a great quote once in yoga that stick with me just like you with your character quote: "don't waste a breath"
Esteem is self-love
Arrogance is comparison
Self-sabotage, self-prophecy
Nothing is enough/good enough
Wired to be pessimists, seeking threats
Live consciously
Engaged in what you’re doing
Therapy - Tightening w/ structure,
loosening in our head
Improve what we can change
WOULD YOU HANG OUT WITH YOU
Self-responsibility
Learned helplessness
Self assertiveness. Be who I am openly.
Believe in yourself
Teach people how to treat you
Stand up for yourself
Live purposefully
Growing or dying
Don’t be afraid to look foolish.
Ditch the need to look important
I have the right to exist.
I am of high value to myself.
