I have used the quote "I am loveable, I am love able" it's also really cool to look yourself in the (in the mirror) when you are telling yourself these things!

Number one thing is to not take life too seriously. Life is your playground don't be the kid who doesn't play, and just sits there.

morgan martindale yeah through a lot of my life it was always living life in my head, and not actually living. that doesn't really help.

"Dont take life seriously" is probably the stupidest life advice I've ever heard, life is the highest value and should be taken seriously

I read the book years ago and felt it was a great book , I recommend it to everyone. Nathaniel Brandon in his book said a confident person is benevolent because he or she knows who she is and has nothing to prove to others. The book was enlightening if you want to improve yourself as a human being.

To me, the root of all and most important pillar of self esteem is self love, which he mentions as the 7th pillar . Also recommend reading “Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It” by Kamal Ravikant .

You forgot the 7th pillar he added at the end of the book, which is the love for your own life. Great review, I really admire it!!!

"Character is what you do when none is looking...", It's powerful.
"Living Consciously"... This is one of the coolest ideas, I am practicing that idea... When I came back from my office biking, I can close my eyes for three seconds and drive blindly and realize I am on my bike and I will crash if I am not alert! , I enjoy that feeling!

I believe you should not "kill" your inner pessimist (or try to kill anything related to you), I propose to think about it as an ally that helps you check if there's something wrong about a particular situation or environment.
