      Yay! Yes it’s really good if you’re a procrastinator like me too 😂... it means I have less excuses when I need to make something but I’m not in the mood! Haha! ❤️

    Love it and now I want to know who killed who in your true crime podcast. ;)
    But seriously, I masterbatch this way as well (which was your suggestion at one of the boot camps - woot!), but sift each batch separately. I will be editing my process to predict a bunch of product, and then just measure into the bag from the pre-sifted bucket. Thanks for sharing your knowledge so we can all continually improve! 😍

      Haha. Generally it’s some man killing some woman 😬... I told my husband if he gets tired of me to just go ahead and let me know and please don’t kill me 🥲... he told me I needed to find a new topic to binge 🤣🤣🤣... wahoo for productivity!

    I tripled the basic bath Bomb recipe & it yields about 5, 8 oz bath bombs for me. Would I just measure out that tripled recipe 20 times to get 100 bath bombs or do you have a better way?

      Yeah so what I would do is figure out how many bath bombs you can make before your mix dies! The high humidity recipe can make a ton without drying out, but generally basic recipes have a shorter life span. So say you max out at 10 bath bombs at a time, then you can weigh out a double batch of the basic recipe and bag that, then just line em up and knock it all out at one time. Saves you so much time and energy layer on down the line and personally I’m much more likely to make bath bombs if I have a batch ready to go!

    Hi Robyn newbie here how do you know the measurements when wanting to master batch ie: your making 14-16 bath bombs per bag, I only have recipe for 3/4 bath bombs.

      The first thing I would do would be to see if your recipe can handle being doubled! If it can then see if it can handle being tripled, etc! Some recipes are better in small batches, and other can hang longer depending on how complex the formulation is! Once you’re confident that the recipe will be fine when done in bigger batches, then you can add up your ingredients and determine how many ounces (or grams) the batch will yield and how many bath bombs that should average out to! 😊

    So you only showed putting dry ingredients in the bags. Do you add your liquids in your master batch? And add citric acid when you start making your bombs?

    • @BathFizzFoam
      @BathFizzFoam  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t add my liquids. I find that when I do that I end up needed to add more liquid anyway when I’m ready to use the mix which seems counterintuitive (using more ingredients to get the same result)… you can prep the liquids ahead of time in jars or Tupperware, but I don’t really mind making them batch by batch because it’s minimal work compared to weighing the liquids!
      I also wait and add citric batch by batch as well!

    I'm 110% up for an asmr bath bomb prep video. ;-) (Check out Moonlight Cottage, btw- Diane is amazing!) Thank you so much for sharing your process! I'm a complete chicken when it comes to bath bombs so I've had fun learning from the bootcamps. I can't wait until I'm ready for production like this. :-)
