Fun little fact: There is an event organized by Polyphony Digital where car companies make concepts that will only appear in Gran Turismo games. They are called Vision GTs, and the cars aren't availbe in real life. What's really cool with those concepts is that the companies can go crazy with the designs. Just look at the Lamborghini Vision GT ofr example. It looks like a literal spaceship. Edit: Alright, so I made some research, and apparently there are some VGTs that have a real-life recreation. But I'm not sure you can buy them.

I love the almost sick perfection with which you drive, which is the most representative of Gran Turismo. Know how to limit speed, brake where it belongs, release the accelerator, memorize at what speed you can enter and exit each curve, which is different with each car, etc. Many people believe that driving a race car is only about going at maximum speed, if that were true all the tracks in the world would be straight. The true passion for the race is to enjoy the perfection when turning in the curves having the best control over the car and then picking up speed on the straights. It's a tug of war, and that makes Gran Turismo exciting.
I'd like to find the guy who made an electric engine that sounds like ajet motor lmao, this sound design is definitly a relic from the GT6 days where a lot of these vision cars got added. Vacuum cleaner engines, the game that was
GT6 back when engine/exhaust sounds didnt matter to me. All I cared about was the massive selection of cars, so many great tracks and its still the most cars in any racing game to this day.

@@danielstokker lol the car in the video above has worse engine sounds than the cars in GT6. Electric engines don't whine so loudly, and the tire/road noise is always more loud at those high speeds

@@anotherviewertheall that's not bugs lmao. AI made mistake in this game - You can dare them to play outbraking in the corners and they could overshoot and do a mistake. Quite a cool AI concept.

Enjoy your videos, but any chance you could turn the HUD off? Just before you start a race, it's on the race display options section. Can also tweak camera view, internal cockpit etc.
Have you won any engines from your roulettes or are you saving them? I won a hellcat engine today and was able to put it in a '70 Challenger, good fun! (4 star cards or higher)
Not gonna lie, the cockpit of the R34 impresses me most still, out of all the other ones thus far. May of been the angle? But it still looked more real to me haha
The mid-tone of the virtual sound almost sounds like the 911 GT2 from Need for Speed Porsche (PS1) back in the days! Hope they'll use it in the coming Boxster/Cayman-generations!
Depends on what you are going for. Grid is full arcade. Gt7 is more of a simulator( especially without assists). From what people are saying, both are good
GRID is instant action with fun racing (Although sadly the game hasn't got many players) GT7 is about the love of cars and you have to put in the time to learn how it plays. But it has a huge playerbase and will definitely keep you interested longer.

No, this is perfect...it's just that other racing games over exaggerates car speeds...even normal car would look like F1 car in other games thanks to over load if Motionblur and screen shake...In GT, you can actually see the difference of speeds between road cars and racing cars
@@DonJoewonSong I like it too, I don't have all the Forza Horizon and Motorsport games, and I didn't say that I didn't like it, I just said that for a Playstation 5 game, even more being a car game where the second most important part is the graphics it was kind of weird for the new generation where 8k textures and raytracing are possible

Engine swaps are in Gran Turismo 7 you can only earn the engine from 3* or higher roulette.

He turned in too quick causing the car to snap.. Happens a lot if you're not careful with the steering input (Also applies to AI)

Joe, how do you keep your turns so smooth playing on controller? I can only achieve turns as smooth as that on a wheel.
Proportional steering it can be done just dont jank the stick around and move it smoothly it is a bit easier on wheel but on controller doable also
