Sold my HD Road Glide last July and have been looking at the 2020 RT Limited, maybe August or Sept and in this color, red like my HD. Having few extras put on it. Mine will be riding around upstate NY and around my son's in Sanford, NC! You see a red RT around Sanford with NY plates wave! Ride safe.
Nice walk-around. Red reflector tape instead of an actual reflector the was cheap of BRP. This trike looks amazing. I was this close to trading my F3. The fitment issues and a few other things stopped me. Enjoy the new ride.

Thanks Ricardo, As soon as the weather cooperates here I plan to release more content like my immediate impressions/differences between the 2015 RT-S and the 2020. After that I'll document my thoughts with a full review of the 2020. Then after those are complete I want to document the places where BRP have some issues in my mind. Thanks for watching...

Good looking Spyder. I have my 2015 RTS SM6 Burgandy(red) 29k so far. I'm in NC too ! I want to go look at this model, I looks beautiful in that color.
I bought me a 2021 RTL Marsala Dark Edition , look forward to running up the miles on it ! Hard to believe it was 10 months ago when I posted here. Put 34k on my 2015 RTS SM6 that I traded in.
Thank you for the walk around I do have one question Is the paint really stuff to a scratch I heard something about it scratches easy. Considering getting the 2021. Hopefully the same Colour that you have. Look beautiful. I thank you did An amazing job.

Subbed ya man. I've been doing some research on the Can-Am's for close to a year. I was really concerned about the fit and finish and the brake brace recall. I do like the Red but leaning towards the titanium color.
Thanks for the sub! Before I bought my 2020 I looked up the VIN on the Can-Am site (can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/owners/safety/safety-recalls-vin-lookup.html). My Spyder had no recalls. If anyone is planning to buy a new 2020 I would suggest you do some investigation via the VIN before signing anything. With this large of purchase you don't want any doubt about the product you buying.
Im looking at buying a spyder. Thank you for the review. Ive got a Kawasaki vulcan vaquero and love it but my knees are going. Im looking at these or the Honda Goldwing trike.
Ok, Bit the bullet and bought one... bought a Marsala Red / Dark version. I agree with you on the scratching issue on the black panels... polish the crap out of them or put some clear paint protection on them. This will pi** you off after a bit. I want my expensive investment to look good as long as possible.THey scratch VERY EASILY as stated by ridnWithRed. Good review.

Well I finally did it I took the plunge and bought myself a can-am spider marcella red black. Toke me 4 year's to save up. I brought it home 9/31/ 2021 . How long before you started riding on the freeway?
I have to ask how long before you actually went on a freeway with it? I'm used to the 2 Wheeler on this one I'm kinda scared to hit the freeway .
You said you are in central NC. I’m in Sanford. Once owned an RT.
How is the ride. Does the ride feel the same as the 2015 model. I'm thinking about buying a used rt spyder 2014 and up.
Thanks for the question nycas, I upgraded many items on my 2015 that affected the ride, I added a BajaRon swaybar and Hankook Ventus V4 ES (H105) 175/55R-15 up front and a Kumho Ecsta PS31 P205/55R-15 in the rear. After those upgrades and a laser alignment my 2015 was an amazing ride. Now for the 2020, it has a softer ride from the factory and better front end geometry, which means less of a requirement to change out for a stiffer sway bar. Hello this is George I don't have that many miles of mine I have the black one marcela red I just "d mine with the ceramic wax by mcguire's I thought about using regular wax But the ceramic wax is supposed to protect It So it don't scratch it . it's a lot quicker and easier . If it gets dirty I rinse it off and I used a detailer Ceramic by Mcguire's. I use one of those round pads I soaked it then I rinse out the water and I put about 2 shots of spray wax mcguire's you could do half the bike I got to do it and make sure you wipe it off after that for a high shine it's really easy With the high gloss.
I just bought the exact same machine
My wife also bought one of the red 2020. I saw a video of a guy who was riding two up and later couldn't get in to his side case. The panels in the rear had shifted badly. He speculated that the mounts had broken from the weight of the passenger. I rode on the back of my wife's for about 300ft and later that day we noticed the left side case panels were very misaligned where you pull to open. Have you seen anything about this issue? Have you been riding 2 up? I'm trying to find the video again but no luck just yet.
Great question Dan, I think I saw something about this on the spyderlovers.com forums as well. And to answer your question, we have road 2up on my 2020 for I'd say 200-300 miles so far without any issues. Our combined weight is close to 450, plus the weight of what's in the top/side bags. So I'd say we are a pretty good example to go by as the 2020 Spyder RT states a 494lb max load rating. Thanks for the questions...
@@ridnwithred5607 Thanks for the feed back. We have a case going with BRP for other things and are going to try and get this put on the list ASAP. However the dealer we bought from is extremely busy and hard to get into. Our other issues are the hand rail boot bad fitment and the four bolts that hold the handle bar clamp on are showing rust tarnishing. The one thing that there will never be a fix for is how soft/scratchable the top coat is on this paint. I can't imagine this paint hasn't cured enough at this point so I don't see it getting harder.

@@ridnwithred5607 Thanks for the great video looking forward to you posting more. I've seen a lot of videos on the 2020's but no one has brought up the rusting bolts. Thought ours was the only one.
Do you like your new one better than your old one? What are the major downsides (besides the looks) of the new one?
In my opinion the 2020 is head and shoulders a better machine than my 2015. I haven't found any major downsides, more so just little picky issues.
@@ridnwithred5607 I have a 2014 rt limited and a friend of mine stoped over with his new 2020 rt limited. I'll take my 2014 looks any day over the 2020. It really looks cheap looking along side of mine. Oh well to each his own. That's only my opion.
How many miles did have on your 2015?
I bought it used and put 18K miles on it in 2 years.
I have a 2016 where is the GPS on the 2020?
Hey Raymond, I seem to remember that you could get a GPS for the older RT's that sat in the middle of your handle bars. Let me know if that's how yours is, but since the release of BRP Connect in 2018 I'm not sure that's been an option. Now your GPS/Calls/Music is done via BRP Connect which uses your cell phone apps and gps data which is shown on the right screen of the 2020 RT dashboard.

Yes I could get 2 full size helmets in my 2015 frunk, There were normal full-face not modular's which are much larger normally.
