I like the looks of the 2020 RT. I have seen a couple TH-cams that show the fitment problems. Thanks for showing us the changes compared to the 2019 RT.
When I get one, I want to paint it to look like "ED 209" from Robocop, LOL
the thing I like about the 2020 is that you have more space in the seats... 2" longer for the rider and 1" longer on the passenger... or so I have been told. and I like the floorboards having more room. As a big guy, I really like being able to stretch out ona long ride

I always thought the RT would look really good with a squared off nose like the F3 has. I've got an after market seat that has a lockable door in it over the gas receptacle so you don't have to raise the seat to refuel. Glad to see Coach Vic out and about. Ryde on.
Got exactly this model and so far so good, but its only been a week.
Got one from Pitbull Pwr. Sports, the extra length of saddle is huge for us. This not our first RT, no worries about fitment probs. The BRP, Pitbull, Spyder Pops, Lamonster Co. Will get us taken care of. Happy riding!
I'm a new subscriber and love the channel Coach Bob. Coach Vic and yourself are quite an inspiration. I am a newer middle aged rider from western Pa on a Honda scooter learning the ropes while looking around for a Spyder. I'm trying to get my wife on board to enjoy the adventure with me and a Spyder and your video's just may help with the mission. Keep up the good work, your content is great quality and very enjoyable to watch!
John Liberoni I really appreciate the encouragement. We are having a lot of fun doing this. Definitely get your wife in there so that she can see the fun we are having together. If I would’ve known it was going to be this much fun and that my wife would love it like this. I would’ve bought this thing a decade ago.
@@CoachBob3 We had a Can Am 2 up ATV and loved it but places to ride are scarce so we sold it and I bought the scoot. For good reason she doesn't want to ride on it with me but I want her to experience what I am experiencing and a Spyder is a viable option we have had great discussion about.

that is exactly like the one I have. It does handle better than the old style and while I wanted to hate those floor boards I ended up loving them :)

The one change I wish BRP hadn't made was removing the signal lights from the back of the mirrors. Having them integrated with that fender marker doesn't seem as visible. I'm kind of up in the air when thinking about trading to the 2020.

You can fit 2 full face helmets in back tub. The back tub is removable and not the saddle bags.

they are lovely looking machine , i have sat on one at a show. the down side here in the UK is i think there are only 3 dealerships that stock them. an there not close to me , so after sales / servicing would be an issue .
My fear when buying ... was dependability. So far so good. The service intervals are long which helps with the service side. Hoping it is going to serve us well. Good luck on your quest. Thanks for the comments. 👍👍👍

Good walk around presentation, from the tone, I'm thinking you are very undecided if you'd do an upgrade. Starboard side, like that, sounds like were a Navy man at some point, I too was a destroyer sailor.
I was kind of hesitant to share the video. I was in “focus mode”..Coach Vic often tells me “chill, you’re just checking that car/jeep/motorcycle out. I was in the zone brother...the search for anything and everything that may present a problem...likes and dislikes. True...I’m keeping mine. Not enough actual substantive improvements for me to shell out the money 💴
Starboard.. I have done a lot of sailing and boating things in my life. I guess, all things nautical, pops out every now and then...I was raised by a sailor and my son is a sailor on a Nuke Sub.

I've noticed in a lot of videos the dash panel flickering, is that a problem with the panel or the video camera's?
It is the camera... I have noticed that while editing film and looked for it the next day!!! Great observation!!!!

Side bags are not removable, only the rear trunk/rear seat. Remove it as one piece and install color matched panel to give the solo look with side bags. Also the longer boards are the promised upgrade for those longer rides

The new top case will hold 2 full face helmets, no need to store them in the front

It really is a beautiful machine.
My wife and I never lock our helmets up ... Just leave them on the seat.
I rode one of those F3 s' when they first came out.
Just my opinion, but, I think they are way more than 116 hp.

I don't work for BRP and as a courtesy to the dealer... I avoid that. The prices also are fluctuating so rapidly now... This is a 2 year old video and the price would not reflect anything in today's market. Thanks for watching!!! 👍🏍🛵😎
Nice video, but the lip smacking thing is very annoying.
jay mcquaid when editing and cutting this video in particular.. it made that noise on every video edit/cut from inside the shop. It only did it during the inside shop portion ... which was very irritating indeed. I actually Debated after editing this video whether or not to post it.. but .. felt the footage may be helpful to folks. Hindsight being 20/20. I should’ve cut all of the audio and done a voice over on that entire video segment.

You make comments and doubts about whether helmets will fit in saddle bags. Why not just try one, instead of speculating . Not very informative .
Louis Ginette the dealership somewhat frowned upon the filming that I was doing already. Many are uncomfortable with that and it is their establishment. Manners and courtesy told me, “no”. So...some information is better than none. A picture paints a thousand words.

Sorry Coachbob3 I think you missed the boat on this review. You talk like your talking to a bunch of other Can am riders which leaves us non can am owners who want to know more in the dark. I'm gonna have to give you flags down all over the place, off sides and a $10,000 fine (but no thumbs down).
