I went to silk market in high school. It was like 2008ish. Bartering with the sellers was crazy fun, but I’d always feel bad for being cheap and worry too much. My one buddy bought 10 times as much as everyone else and had the most money left because he’d give them one number and leave. 90% of the sellers would chase after him to make a deal.
The sellers convince themselves that it's the reasonable price while lying to you. They lie to themselves and thinks that you are the wrong one.
Any price is a reasonable price if someone's willing to pay for it.

East Coast Beast That’s understandable,there is a lot of poverty in China but if I were them I would try not to pressure someone to buy something because that could make someone uncomfortable and then they wouldn’t buy anything at all. Instead they should try to be calm and act more outgoing because it’s a natural reaction for a human to be friendly if another is nice to them. I’m sure there would be a higher chance for someone to purchase something from them if they acted like that.
Hmm.. I agree too. But the thing is these small shops all sell similar things which is why they always try to "pressure" people to buy stuff. Otherwise, why would someone buy your shirt over another stores exact shirt? It sucks because if they don't do this then they will have little to no sales. So whoever comes in to even check out their stuff they see it as an opportunity to sell. That's why they'll even give in to this youtubers bargains.
