Been about 4 years since I've kept a walleye.. I live around pool 10 and only shore fish I do catch quite a few walleye but I've only been catching bigger fish and eat em 15 to 19in. I don't fish for them specifically but catch em while perch and bluegill fishing. This year so far has been the year of huge panfish.

Apparently I was on the wrong side of the river that day 🤔 I was fishing the shallows to but not quite close enough and closer to steeper banks. I got a few but not the quality fish you guys did.
You must have really been banging the sand with those Shad Raps in 6-9’ of water. I was hitting bottom at 10-11’ with them but that’s typically when I picked up my fish. Another great video guys.

We're trying Pepin for the first time ever, this first weekend of August. Expecting much lower water conditions. However, thinking shad baits, speed trolling, and deeper water might be the pattern?
