Jesus that brings back memories. I had nearly every birthday there from 18-25. Searched out the back by old bill, thrown out a few times by the bouncers, the female on the door was scary too!!! She was ok if you was behaving, but you’d get sorted out lively if you was being a knob. Life before kids eh. It’s sad to see what it’s like now. Generations will never know what it’s like to have your Jolly Sailor pre drinks then get ready to stand in the rain to get in. After a night of dancing like a twat, a dodgy burger that tasted like it was the best thing ever. Loved it back in the day. Proper memories.

My 21st birthday celebrating pewter Beer mug is in that cellar somewhere. Got left behind in a drunken haze. As for the club itself, it should be handed over to the Meat Marketing Board where it belongs. It was always a 'cattle market'. Dreadful place.
Yes, I read in one of your descriptions that you make your own music. All your audio is great! Very pleasing to the ear and well suited to the videos. I am playing with garage band but it isn't quite up to scratch... Would like to tag along on one of your URBEX later in the year! Take care bro, and remember - never put too much trust in rust!

When I went in I wasn't 100% if I'd be able to get out of there as it was only accessible by crawling down through a wall, luckily the back door was open.... Thanks for watching :D
+Caroline Waite I think it's a combination of a leak in the roof and the lower dance floor area being below sea level, so at high tides it would flood. :D
Ah yes of course it is forgot that - think there was always an issue then thinking about it especially round the back and men's loos but of course it was covered up more because it was an open club!
Everything not located on the lower flooded lever should be salvageable, certainly the coats on the coat racks were fine... Only issue, this site is now secure. :/

A couple of reasons; firstly it's below sea level so when there is a big swell it gets flooded, secondly, there are a couple of holes in the ceiling so every time it rains, it floods
I've got some footage inside the pub and also the flats above... Unfortunately, they're not as exciting as either the Nightclub or Arcade so I haven't uploaded... Might do in the future... If I ever get through my backlog 😂
