    Gez, those newer trains sound like they're about ready to fall apart...... The M-1, and M-3 still can't be beat. The original Metropolitans !

      @@KymaniCaracal ran via the Atlantic Branch west of Valley Stream (which is most commonly used by Long Beach & far rockaway trains)

    Why don’t this branch stop at valley stream no more it literally switched to the Atlantic branch after leaving the w Hempstead line

      West Hempstead trains don’t make scheduled stops at Valley Stream regularly anymore. They normally travel via the Babylon branch because they stop at St. Albans. However on this specific weekend they were not stopping at St. Albans when heading towards Manhattan, so they routed it via the Atlantic Branch on the way back.

      @@Lirrfilmer2004 The first weekday train in the AM rush also only went as far as Valley Stream where passengers had to change for the next train from Long Beach to go to Penn Station or Brooklyn. I used to ride on it occasionally when I lived in Valley Stream.
