One hint to help avoid height problems wrt to terrain: Find the highest point in the build area. Then pick a foundation-- any foundation works. Sink it into the ground, on the high point, until it shows red. Pick it up again and once it shows green, drop it there. Now you have your known high point marked and set, and is therefore an indexable reference point for all else.
I've been playing with it a little, I recently discovered the barn flooring (looks like exposed cinderblock) uses fewer resources, and the warehouse to me, just looks like more aged, less painted wood, so it does break up the monotony in places that allows it.
Idk if you'll see this since this isn't a new video but love your channel! Been checking it out as I got fallout 4 on sale a few weeks ago and have been curious to explore more than I did on my playthrough back when it launched. I was just wondering if you have to power those generators with a fusion core? And ditto for the vault-tec ones you mention. I'd like to someday roam the wastes with power armor so I hoard my power cores. And idk if there was a related update or something but I find plenty of nuclear material on glowing ones and glowing molerats and radroaches.
storing or scrapping items using the workshop causes the build meter to decrease. this can be any interactable item in the game, but I usually haul in a large number of weapons and eitehr scrap them if I want to use the materials or store them if I'm only after increasing the build limit. you have to be careful though, if your settlement gets too big the game will get really unstable.
Thank God I use tc scrap everything 7:41 I just duplicate nuclear material for the super vault TEC reactor using a exploit (I'm a settlement building noob btw)
I love how you have cats in nearly all your settlements
thanks, and thank you for checking out and commenting in so many of my videos, lately. I appreciate it.
I'm not a noob, just watching to gather some new ideas. 😁
Love the design. Great use of the glass and vaultec railings. 👍

excellent build site. well planned and executed. I really liked the two story utility/shopping center.
I really like the boardwalk and the beach tables and grills. So many items in the Workshop I didn't know were there
Wow. This settlement is awsome. I love It.
So creative! I love your settlement builds!
I always place my recruitment beacons on the roof of something so there is more space on the ground.
These builds are insane! Kudos to making amazing settlements, wish i had the patience to make something like this lol
His builds are so nice they look like legit game made areas like I can't even say building cuz it's like full on area, so impressive 💯💯
Me too :)..im awful at building
Do you ever use the flooring from the warehouse tab? It is personal preference, but it appears treated, which would be something to consider in Maine.

No resource is hard to get. Just get the scrapper perk, buy weapons with water, scrap weapons. More than enough materials than you will ever need.
What about concrete?
That is an awesome build dude I really want to try that
That is so nice! Man I wish I had a PC for gaming 😭😭...
What is your favorite build location as far as ease, space and centrality?
👍

I do still see these :) no the fusion core is included when you build the reactor.
@Theegreygaming thanks!
How do you get around the build size limit? It seems like you can only add so much before it will not allow you to add anything.

@@Theegreygaming I just laugh now I wish I knew that before thanks for the info. Enjoying the content.
Cat: *does nothing*
Settlers: :)

7:50 A little comment... I just shoot the nuke they are carrying from a distance. And kaboom! 😂 The random board games come in handy too.
Glowing Beasts always have NM too
Awesome builds but NOT for NOOBs like me.
You get nuclear material killing things with plasma weapons too.
The build looks too repetitive of the furniture and lights. This settlement lacks originality and class.
