Fatimah I doubt she bought a puppy mill dog, especially for 13k! She has to have the best of the best so probably went to an exclusive breeder. I am an adoption coordinator with a Shiba Inu rescue and these dogs will go for 1000.00 from a puppy store (the fake facade of the puppy mill industry) and I have attended a few puppy mill auctions and not a single dog went for more than 2500 and that was a mom with 7 puppies. A person would have to be really stupid to pay 13k for a genetically defective animal.
