    How do you train your horse to stay with you with no halter? Mine would just walk away

    It's easy to do the exercises with a horse that looks like a mummy. try to make them with my thoroughbred arabian stallion who doesn't even stand still for a second😂😂😂😂😂

      More of a challenge but very fun!! I have a super energetic thoroughbred that loves liberty! It takes me longer to get that right connection than with some of my other horses but once we both got there he's fantastic at it♥️

      There's a reason her horse is like this and your horse is like that...

    This is a problem I am having with my new rescue. He is nippy and in my space.

    • @ln6455
      @ln6455 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He bits the halter as I put it on. Then almost mowed me down to get out of his paddock. I try to get him to move back and stay but not always able to get the response.

    • @GretchenDupree
      @GretchenDupree ปีที่แล้ว

      Just kinda curious, is it important to you that you title your horsey, “Your new rescue”? Why not say, “Your new horse”?

    • @GretchenDupree
      @GretchenDupree ปีที่แล้ว

      LN my 3 yr old thoroughbred is having exact same issue w personal space and nippy. Id like a plan to fix that

    • @ktxtenskz7441

      @@GretchenDupreet just gives people a bit more context, as if people didn’t know it was a rescue they may reply in a nasty way and say shit like “well then that’s your fault” or “you made it like that” if you get what I mean. People tend to have more tolerance towards bad behaviours when they are rescues as they haven’t had the best past, so they’re a bit easier on rescue owners. Hope that makes sense
