If you have no money and bad credit nobody should be getting a mortgage period. This is insane and it's the one of the biggest reasons for the 2008 crash. No homeowner should ever live paycheque to paycheque and with no retirement savings.
Parindon you guys are doing great! I am not there yet, about to start the process of PR. Hope to be there in 2021 or 2022 & then will meet the parinde in person to get tips of survival in Canada. Hope you guys grow big by then!!
Well renting might be ineffective in the longer time frame..but renting rn so u can build ur credit score, stabilise ur fulltime, build emergency funds and take care of other financial problems and buying a house 1-2 after still sounds financially smart
I think one of the questions you also have to ask yourself is: What is better? Negative equity or renting? Make sure you can carry the cost for 5 years at least.
THIS. Low mortgage interest rates are not a guarantee for your entire amortization period. Buying with 0 down, your monthly payments will increase by a huge amount when interest goes up. This is a perfect recipe for being house poor.
Awesome ideas!!! Though its been only a month here in Canada for me, your videos has made me think about it. I too won't delay and wasting my money on renting. Thankyou so much for sharing such helpful ideas.
Simple never be late on a payment, setup pre authorized payments for your internet phone etc...use credit cards often but be disciplined pay in advance of the statement date. Do.it for.3 to 6 months and your credit score will improve drastically.
If you have high mortgage rate, you are not really building any equity until a few years. On top of that, add downpayment interest. So bad idea to get a flex mortgage unless you really know it inside out and ready to take the toll.
What about another scenario, it's been 6 months here as an immigrant and I have a job and I have savings from my inheritance like 300000 cad and I want to buy a house of 500000cad,then is there any chance to get loans?
Hello Canadian Parinday!!! Your videos are too good and very informative for young couple like us who are planning to buy a house in Canada. Can I have more insights about house prices in kitchener and waterloo. Our budget is 600k
Hi Canadian, Could you please do a video on Credit Cards which includes which credit card to apply for, how much credit card should a person apply for to keep a good credit score, which bank would be best to apply the credit card and few information about credit score. Thank you, Shutanu.
Nice video👍 and very informative. Does this apply for Quebec too pls. Can you also do a video the steps to convert work permit to PR and the timeline. Thank you very much
Hello Can you guys make a detailed video on how you came to Canada? I heard in one of your videos that Deepak came on Student Visa and you accompanied him later. What are the necessary points to be taken into account if a couple wants to immigrate to Canada through this way. Can you please discuss this in your next video? TIA
Hello, i have one question like i am student and my maritial status is single.i came in sep 2019 and my income for year 2020 will be nearby $42000. I am planning of buying a house next year in 2021 with my 2020 income for mortgage approval. Do u have any idea how much mortgage i can get with this much of income.( my purpose of buying house is for rental income)
Does the monthly EMI go higher with no down payment mortgage? Can you give an example if one purchases a house worth 400000? monthly mortgage with and without down payment
for sure depends on down payment. More down payment means less principle mortgage amount to pay. www.truenorthmortgage.ca/tnm-calculators/payment-calculator.html here you can calculate payment in different scenarios.
Can you explain more about the downpayment percentages . For instance , I am looking to buy a house around 700k to 800k in next 2-3 years so how much downpayment I should save to qualify for this morgage . Thnku 😁
Hi Harnoor, If you are looking to buy a house between 700k to 800k then by law, you need at least 5% for $500K and 10% for any amount over $500K. In our opinion, more the better.
Guys, I have been watching your videos regularly and I really want to thank for giving suggestions and share your good as well your mistakes will help us lot to start our Career at Canada. As of now, I have $480 in the bank. I never realized i can buy an entire house in my poor state.
Getting some motivation from you guys. We bought our first home here in canada in Kitchener, 8 months after moving here. :)
I think one of the questions you also have to ask yourself is: What is better? Negative equity or renting? Make sure you can carry the cost for 5 years at least.

Save for down payment and go to bank rest all paths are costly at the end.
very good perspective! honest!
Thank you😊
If the property prices are rising, best to take a mortgage and freeze the expense at the known levels.
That's one of the argument Kamlesh.
Quality is getting better and better 👌👌👌
I am watching your videos regularly and they are helpful, thank a ton to your couple...
Keep motivating us!
Awesome ideas!!! Though its been only a month here in Canada for me, your videos has made me think about it. I too won't delay and wasting my money on renting. Thankyou so much for sharing such helpful ideas.

Good job you genius couples, keep going straight to your desires as well.

I prefer to wait rather than to go for zero down payment. Even if I miss the chance of that type of property there will be another one available.
Hi Canadian,

Well said Dushyant.
Always ask why? Look at what is happening around the world.
Where are you guys working? How you were travelling to offices pre-covid?
It is high risk. House prices will decrease when bank of Canada will increase interest rates.
