I was inspired by your other video and tried doing it myself. I made a list of all my Steam and Epic library games. I have over 300 games on the list. It's made me play some very varied games such as Sonic Mania, Ace Combat, Warlock of Firetop Mountain and I'm currently playing Tales of the Neon Sea, which I'm really enjoying.
Yo, I got Ace Combat recently too, the first one. It was so good! Even in 2023 haha

I have been kicking the games of my list for a while now and what helps me is surprisingly to organize the list itself. I started with just a TXT document where i marked if i played the game. Currently i have it all on google drive, separated into High/Medium/Low priority with Sequels and newly added games having their own tabs.
My own recent journey took me to Disgaea 5, a game series that i knew of but never heard anything about other than the grind. Earth Defense Force 5, wich i would never pick up if not for having EDF4.1 of some code and loving it while previously playing it thanks to this list. And... Well... Journey, the game itself was something i was putting of for a long time, and now i know how wrong i was for doing so.

I tried doing something similar and ended up playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadows, all the modern Tomb Raider games and all the Batman Arkham games. But for me it was more like "I would like to play these games one day, but I just always find some excuse to do something else" so I enjoyed them as expected, considering that I already tried playing their first parts back when they came out. But my Steam "need to play" list is still about 100 games long. I also noticed how most of the games I have bought are complicated experiences that I wouldn't watch a playthrough of, so I just end up watching playthroughs/streams of something "mainstream" instead of playing my games because I don't have the mental energy to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 for over 100 hours.

I usually try to commit to a game when buying it so i don't get this problem. although i do have a couple VR games I can't try even if i wanted to because I'm using a quest wirelessly and i don't have the proper internet i used to.
steam db has a thing that just lets yo open a random ssteam game if you didnt know
Only 78 games weird to see that counted as a ton vs my 400+ bought games on steam and my massive free games list from GOG and Epic.
Though based on what i've played from my list I have found I love smaller more compact games over these over bearing open world games with either poor writing or subpar writing.
And I have seen an uptick in games that I have zero interest in recent years,because of the feel of the lack of passion from most of the games coming out and especially with the writing of most games just being awful or the story just lacking oomph.
Please don't get discouraged that this video is doing worse then that one that blew up you probably won't get that again so just keep making content

First I listed all of the games on one column and then listed numbers for each of the games in order in the column next to the games. After this you can use =RANDBETWEEN(1,(your total amount of games)), to pick a random number. If you also want to display the name of the game in the cell, you can use the RANDBETWEEN within VLOOKUP as the key value. I did the VLOOKUP part so it makes more sense for the video, but if you just want to randomize them RANDBETWEEN should be enough.

You should add the house in the Fata Morgana to your list it’s a pure visual novel and is about 25-30 hrs and is truly one of the best stories I’ve ever witnessed I wish I could experience it again for the first time.
Can you check cult of the lamb? Im sure that you will enjoy it because you are a metroidvania
