The guy who bought the Fender signature model for 100k php must be thinking to himself, "I wasted so much money for just to show off that I can afford an expensive signature fender tele." I have been playing guitar since 1965 doing gigs and owned around 25 guitars ranging from Yamaha, Fender, Ovation, Takamine, Gibson, Martin, Sea Gull, Larivee, Ibanez and lately Taylor. All sounded different in tone and aesthetics. Jcraft T1 admittedly is very impressive and without mentioning the cost, looks and feel like that signature fender model.
fair review. the key is to curb expectations. kids today don't understand that it's impossible to pit this against a fender or any of the midrange/high end guitars. but considering the price point and the quality that you get, this is guitar is more than adequate for anyone.. i guess a good question would be, if these guitars are worth upgrading with more expensive parts
In our humble opinion, the experience of modding a guitar whether DIY or with your friendly neighborhood tech is an experience in itself. So will the guitar be worth more money after modding? Maybe not. Can it become technically and sonically better than the high end guitars? Maybe not din. Wood and overall craftsmanship come into play. But if you're a guitar nerd like us, the modding experience will be priceless. It might even influence your preference for your next level guitar purchase! Thanks for watching!

In all fairness, each guitar price point has a corresponding market niche. Good thing to point out that for a beginner or casual player, the guitar will not disappoint.

Tatagal yan 2 or 3 hrs. been using jcraft guitars for my show band, performing 2-3 sets a night. setup and upgrade is also an option. :)
