The easiest way to de-slime them is aggressively rub them in dry, course salt for a minute and rinse them quickly in cold water so the octopus doesn't soak up the salt.

Well done & great eye' Rob the Octopus is my favorite animal in the world not only because of their uniqueness and intelligence, but they taste good too lol. When you catch your future octopus you can put it in a bowl with tons of sea salt and rub down to remove a lot of the slime then rinse off, then you can place it in a zip lock and either beat it with a meat tenderizer or use a massager for about 10 mins and that meat will be so tender. Grilled octopus tentacles I'm sure will be in the next video🤔. The ceviche looked really good. I can only imagine how it tasted after you let it sit for like 30 mins to absorb all the flavor.
