After seeing this video, I'm going to say Canada. Seeing those stunning blue waters has reignited my photography itch (haven't shot for fun since graduating in July). Time to save money!! Love your new vlogs and your style of editing 💕
Driving from California (where I live) up through Oregon, and then to Seattle. I loved this style of video, it was like I was watching a travel show on tv. Please travel more, and edit them this way ❤.
As someone who won’t be in a position to travel to Canada at any point soon, I wanted to say thank you for virtually taking me there. The cinematography is beautiful, with such a fitting soundtrack. Really well produced. Good job, well done girl!
Your editing skills have absolutely flourished this was so professional and looked amazing 🌞🤩 where did you get your led zeppelin sweatshirt from love it!
Watching this made me realized something.... This video made me feel something I haven't felt for the longest time... Something I've only felt when I watched Anthony Bourdain's no reservations... That show meant so much to me growing up... It shined a light of the beauty of the world even in parts where it's so hard to see... You remind me of that feeling again Helen, and for that, I thank you... I only wish you could travel the world and show us cultures and beauty through your perception, as Tony did in his life. I'm greatful you seem to be braver and stronger than your demons... We need more people like you in the world
Ahhh my heart. I consider both Vancouver and Alberta near the mountains my home and stomping grounds and youre doing it such justice. And also reminding me to the love where im from. Thanks Helen!!
This was wonderful, so peaceful and beautiful that it almost made me teary on my long ass train journey to work. Well done! Also, you are an amazing presenter, I think you should contact the BBC just in case, I know they accept screenplays ...
I'm so excited for this vlog series! As a canadian, I felt it important to say, in Canada we don't use Native or Native American. Our Indigenous communities prefer Indigenous and/or aboriginal! :)
ahhhh!!! I'm canadian but born in the UK and currently live here, but moving to penticton canada in a couple years.. my partner and i did a vancouver trip to the rockies with lots of stop offs on the way and this makes me so nostalgic! great video xx
This video was INSANE! I love your new style (I love the old style too though!) and this video is incredible. The music was moving, the shots were stunning and now I want to go to Canada even more!
Aweh! My stomping grounds. I grew up in a small town 40 minutes away from Vancouver by ferry. One of my Parent's first dates was at Shannon falls. This video is so homey for me. :)
It’s so surreal watching a TH-camr that i subscribed to when I lived in Vancouver, hanging out in Vancouver when I’m now in England 🏴 after 23 years of living In Canada.
The scenery honestly looks like a bob Ross painting but a 1000 times better so stunning giving me inspiration for a honeymoon road trip to Canada😍 also loving this style of documentation I’m living for it ❤️
This fall in has hit us all at once in Vancouver. I dont recommend coming here any time other than summer if you want some sun 😂 we get rain all year and most people here are used to it, but visitors and new citizens can find it depressing haha
There’s such a different feeling with this video.. if I’m honest, I love it. Feels so much more like Helen and feels like she’s genuinely happy making this one instead of a forced daily vlog. Love it, keep it up helen❤️ also your trip looked amazing!!
The beauty of this actually made me cry. Maybe cause of the whole environmental crisis at the minute, I don't know lols? It honestly looks like a dream and now I'm pining so hard to go there. I love the trees. And the chipmunks omg.
I'm so impressed by this new documentary style videos and the talent and time you have put into these. I've been watching every video since the very beginning, it makes me really happy to see how far you have come. You should be very proud of what you have made. Would love to see you make a documentary on a subject of your choice.
Bugger me! your edit is incredible, and now I neeeed to go to Canada. i get that feeling when I drive through the mountains on the way to grasmere every year. so atmospheric!
would you ever do an UNpacking video? Showing what you absolutely wore and used, and what you didn't, and how you manage to fit in purchases etc. :D LOVE THIS VLOG HELEN! xo
Helen I’m literally falling in love with your chanel all over again!! This style of vlog is so you, so your personality and it’s incredible!! Loved this vlog so so much and cannot wait to see what you’ve done with the others ❤️❤️
I used to live in Vancouver and Whistler & it's so weird to see you visit places we went all the time! Purebread is so god damn amazing 😅 also my friend Courtney works at Summit Lodge so I wonder if she upgraded you haha. Can't wait for part 2 x
Hi Helen! I have been following both of your channels for years and I don’t normally post comments on videos but I want to say that this vlog of your trip was edited so beautifully! I absolutely LOVED the awesome views you captured and the music you paired with the shots. I also enjoyed the voice overs you did, which explained your adventures through Canada. I really enjoy your new style of vlogging and I look forward to all future videos from you! ❤️ sending love and support from Colorado
So great :) living here all my life I guess I'm so used to all of it and I love my home a lot but I've always wondered why so many tourists do show up.. cause we dont have the big grand landmarks or anything.. but it's got wonder in the small shops and in the nature... you portrayed it so well.. it's nice to see it through someone else's eyes.. :)
Absolutely loved this travel vlog format. It really feels like watching a professional documentary plus Canada looks amazing. Can't wait for part two, and I hope you'll keep up this style of vlog for a while!
This makes me remember all the lovely tings my husband and I did when we were there... makes me want to do it all again! Did you have a Purebread brownie? The brownie of my dreams!!!
I put off watching this video as I went to Vancouver and Kamloops this summer and I knew it would make me look at flights to go back as soon as... you filmed it beautifully! It’s given me so much inspiration for my next trip there!
I love your commentary throughout the video as well as the narrating! Answers so many questions so I dont need to post in a comment ☺ looked so fun! I'm so happy to see you reunite with Emma! My friendships are a top priority of mine and its cool to see that you cherish your friends as well 🎉🎉🎉
Such a great trip I can’t wait for part two! My husband and I have always wanted to visit Canada! This just makes me want to go even more. My dream location to visit would forever be Hawaii! 💜
Hahaha :D your excitement for your victory ice cream was so precious and it gave me such a nice feeling that people can still be happy with just the little things! Could you write the places you visit in the vlog? So like people (me 😅) who want to visit some places you've seen can easily look them up, just a suggestion ☺️. Canada is one of my dream destinations, so is Egypt but maybe not at the moment 😅. So Canada it is!
ha ha ! i live in Washington... not far from Vancouver... the rain well its just a thing and makes everything green! and brings the snow to the mountains
We went to Canada this time last year the first part of your trip totally mirrored ours. Awwww I got all the feels watching this. Canada is an amazing place to visit I really want to go again

This is my absolute dream holiday 😍 Favourite video you’ve ever made. The editing and style of it all even all the background music was just perfect 👌🏻
I legit want to crawl through the computer and shake whomever thumbs down this video, it was SO flippin' good Helen. I laughed, I got emosh (whales & Whistler), I'm all warm and fuzzy now...you are such an inspiration. I didn't go to school for film like you did, I wish I had. But I look to your vids for guidance (not to copy) on ways to edit, and to be more thoughtful and creative in my vlogs. Everyone give Helen some love and for crying out loud "thumbs way the f**ck up" these epic vids she's working so DAMN hard on!
Your adventures were all presented so neatly and clearly.; Nothing feels too over dramatised like a lot of holiday vlogs can be. I just love the wide screen and the camera aperture, too. It’s all just perfect... It’s easy to watch. 💖
I absolutely loved this!!! Canada is such an incredible place. I’m not long back from Toronto & your video has made me want to go back 🤣 awesome work! Xxx
