We have the T6 turbocharged & supercharged motor in our 6 year old XC60 with 65k miles. No issues with the motor so far. An independent Volvo specialist I spoke to mentioned some of the earlier T6 motors were oil burners but they fixed the issue. Overall the motor/car has been much more reliable than I anticipated.
Sat in one of these a few weeks ago, and I was pretty impressed with the build quality and vibe of the interior. The safety is great (because volvo), and interior space was decent too. Exterior is pretty conservative but thats exactly what I'd want driving my family around. The engine is something I'm unsure about, reliability-wise. These automakers really need to find a standard with infotainment, 90% of the time they miss the mark.
100% agreed my friend def a great vehicle with premium vibes. Having a standard in the industry for the infotainment would be great as well like you mentioned
Thank you for the information! About the 21 inch rims, you are definitely right! I test drove two XC90s! 20” tires are absolutely best size for XC90! Did not fill any bump on the road ! And got XC90 with 20’ but unfortunately, Harmon carbon goes with 21 tires! :(
@@MeynMotorGroup maybe you won’t believe me but I watch hundreds videos about xc90 and I only remember your comment about size of rims when I went to test drive for2024 XC90 B5 plus with 21” . Then I bought B5 plus with 20” . My wife asked me why I chose that car and I told her about your video 😀
I have the 2023 XC 90 T8 plug in hybrid. Sunvisor cannot extend so expect to get blinded when its sunny. The infotainment screen will sometimes go blank and u have to reset manually by hitting the home button for 15 seconds. No precise psi value for tires and oil so u dont know its precise level. Doesnt come with a spare tire but a repair foam kit thats good for 200 miles. No wireless charging pad. If u want to add the stow away hitch, will cost $2500 to $2700 to install. If u put ur keys in the cupholder, it will say key not detected. Ac/heater screen not as responsive and takes a few seconds to pop up and ac is not accurate for temp. I put it up to 74 degrees F and its still freaking cold. No physical so expect to drive and tinker with the touch screen. To lock the glove box, it takes a few steps instead using a key or on the main menu. Takes premium gas grade 91 only. To change driving mode, takes a couple menus to get to while driving rather than a physical button u can switch on the fly.
looks nice the color and int colors to bad Volvo is moving to all EV s under warranty there great ,my aunt had 200,000 miles on her 1993 Volvo 245 some one might still be diving it
Yea my friend I think the older Volvos lasted a long time if one took care of it. I don’t mind EVs I just don’t like how they shove it down our throats and won’t allow Gas cars to coexist.
