This is getting green, not blue unless you add lots of blue colour.
I would make it differently. Use 15ml 100% pure essential Orange Oil, mix with 120ml Alkohol and 100ml warm Water makes an Essence. Use 30ml of the essence and mix it with 500ml Simple Sirup and you have a clear Orange Sirup. Add a little blue colour ... The Oil might seperate, so just seperate it with a seperation funnel. (Have a look at Art of Drink if you dont know)
I thought it may be difficult by seeing the blue colour but very cool...
