Thanks a million for supporting PJ's efforts, myself and this little channel 🙂
Great video, Paul! It is so helpful in learning these concepts this way; you explaining several different parts of the composition. The concepts come alive as always, the different facets of an arrangements or solos are a masterclass of this music in real time. Appreciate what you do! Thank you!
@@irajames8113 Thank you Ira! I'm so glad these tutorials are resonating with you and that you find these helpful 😊. I am enjoying producing these. So it's really my pleasure.🎶
Thank you for posting beautiful and comprehensive videos always ❤😊 I have a question as a jazz/reharm beginner... When you know /can analyze all details shown in this video, and if you have several chances performing this shadow of your smile say in the same venue with maybe similar audiences, would you perform in the same analyzed techniques or try to change drastically each time to make it sound quite different? Thanks 😊
Some of the voicings will be similar but mostly the improv will change dramatically each time I play it. That's the goal anyway. Of course there will be other elements the same or slightly different, while constantly focusing on new ideas and sounds. Thanks for the question.

Beautifull arrangement🎉❤
Thanks for watching. I really enjoyed putting this one together.
Thx for this Paul! This song has always been one of my favorites since Wes Montgomery recorded it on Verve records! Perhaps before your time. 😂
