What we actually need is a remake/reboot of spawn that uses the mk11 costume and takes place in Detroit with dmc5 + arkham knight gameplay + gear of war style shooting
So Doom Slayer just casually rides a dragon, parries with a chainsaw shield, and wears a fur cape... Meanwhile, I'm over here trying to survive Monday mornings. Absolute legend.
I would love to see a 3 season or more TV series about the Lore of Doom. Think like Heavy Metal (movie) with concept art (like) by Frank Frazetta.

Glad to see they brought back the grit. Eternal was too fantasy. Took me forever to want to beat it. Went right back to 2016.

One of my gripes about DOOM Eternal; was the Super Shotgun played 2nd fiddle to the Grenade Launcher Mod on the Combat Shotgun
I mean, don't get me wrong; the
Combat Shotgun 'Nade Launcher Mod; was a great catch all...
But the Super Shotgun is synonymous with DOOM
I see in the Trailer; that said Super Shotty, is paired with a Shield, that goes all Rygar / Captain America, with a built in buzz saw...
And while I get it; about that Skull Grinder Shotgun, the idea of the Super Shotgun, with a defensive Shield, ala Dark Souls...

Truth be told...
I did not like Hugo's work in Doom Eternal.
But now this man redeemed himself and saved the Doom franchise as well. I believe he learned many lessons from the mistakes the developers made in Doom Eternal.
Doom The Dark Ages has come to make things right. NO GAMEPLAY RESTRICTIONS. No mandatory fuckery this time. Doom The Dark Ages is a hard and well deserved GOODFUCKINGBYE to the abominable, loathsome, toxic elitist fan base. They can go to Hell now. I won't miss any of them.
I feel like the purists that got too blinded by nostalgia goggles from the original Doom back in the 90s failed to realize that progress is a thing as game development goes on.
While the original DOOM games can be timeless as always where we can always go back to them, there's no denying that since DOOM 2016, this franchise has got a hell-crushing face-shredding revival and it's deservedly been loved by all fans universally.
I hope they introduce even more variety of things to keep the gameplay fresh in Dark Ages.

This is late for doom DLC, iam hoping and praying for a new painkiller game to come out.
If this doom would be darker and jump scarry i would accept it. Ques its wait and see how this turns out, but trailer dont look dark. I did had blast in previous dooms, but they where to bright without creeping me out.
